Everything about that fear is spot on, but I take it as a challenge that I will always win and when you wake up it's bright and you realize how silly those fears were 👍🏻🇺🇲
Just found your channel a few days ago and I'm glad I did. I have loved the outdoors and camping or just taking a stroll through the woods which I usually do every day. Your videos are very helpful and I plan to catch up on them. Looking forward to them in the future.
I've done a lot of camping, but always in company, so fear didn't really enter into it. I would imagine, that for a lot of people, the first night or two camping alone might be slightly nerve wracking, but it's mostly just getting used to sounds that they might never have heard before, especially if they live in towns or cities. In Australia, the gun laws are different, while I could purchase a gun, I can't just walk in and buy one, It's much harder to get one, & if I did have one, I'd have to have, legally, a very good reason for carrying it on me. Though I do love archery, & as far as I know, there's nothing to stop me from carrying one of those.
Amen Brother. Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
Thanks for the encouraging words! I’m one of those guys who feels a little on edge camping by myself, although I have done it on occasion. I’m reading an interesting book entitled “Christ in the Wilderness.” It focuses on the Gospel of Mark and shows how Christ’s ministry was deeply rooted in the wilderness theology of ancient Israel. In one sense, as Christians, we are also wilderness people (or at least we should be). 😊
That book sounds amazing I will look it up. I think we all have a little anxiousness at times but that makes us lean on God even more.Get out as often you can keep up the good fight 🙏👍
Im not afraid of the dark even here in Alaska. Alaska has handed me everything from a Grizzly attack and a chopper rescue with everything you could imagine fit in between those two situations. However, there is one forest I will not stay in after sundown anymore. 5 trips in a row high strangeness went down. Fortunately, twice with others with me who I warned and like clockwork the strangeness showed up.. I even captured voices on audio that I never heard when I was out there.. But the dark wont hurt you. There is generally nothing there in the darn that wasnt there in the light.... usually.
Sounds like you are a seasoned camper. experiences like those are treasure. conquering those fears only stretches us. Gods got us brother. Keep pushing those boundaries brother.👍🙏🔥
Im afraid to be alone in the dark with out a weapon. If i have my rifle and handgun ill walk though any void alone. My rifle is my one love that has never failed me ❤️😂
I agree that we should never put ourselves in harms way to have fun. Keep getting out there stretching yourself and remember God‘s got your brother.👍🙏🔥
I am with you on this, ..I used to love to camp and fish alone all night. Never thought about the dark. My health keeps me from continuing to do things and I miss that. Grandma said to me when I was a kid and was afraid of the dark, close your eyes. Are you afraid now? Never was afraid of the dark after that.
