If a team can't win the title in 12 years with Alonso, Kimi and Vettel, which have a total of seven world championships and you have hundreds of millions of dollars per year, the best guess is that the team is the problem, not the drivers. This year they lost every single bit of pace they had. The engine is bad, yes, but the chassis is also bad - if not worse then the engine. This is sad. So very, very sad

@@solarydays normally a great teams back up the mistakes their drivers fo like when hamilton made some mistakes in his early seasons in the merc mercedes quickly gave him his momentum and gave him strenght while seb always did the backing and when he struggled a bit ferrari fucked it up entirely. He just wasn't that good in 2019 but would you have just thrown lewis into the trash after he lost the title 2016

Now your favourite is doing equal mode with his team mate in the team and competing, but losing. I wish the competition would've been there back then already - Ferrari is kind of a bad team that keeps changing their mind all the time and wanting their cake but having it too. I don't think he will win a championship in his life.
And to answer your question about a "fake retirement" - these are now your words and something that I never claimed, it was caused by their engine overheating by keeping the driver in the pits to let the other driver pass if they can't otherwise - if you have watched f1 for a while, you'll know that if a car is stationary for too long, it'll overheat - these cars are designed to have air pass through them in high speed to cool them down with the aero design. Sucks when Ferrari's strategy bites them in their own ass and they don't have any championships since 2007, doesn't it?

Nothing against Vettle as a person.
But basically this Ferrari stint confirms suggestions for many that Vettel only got his titles because of how advanced Red Bull car was at the time to opposition.
Vettle never delivered competition for Title in Ferrari. Was not even that close in 2017.
He is a good driver, even great sometimes, he is one of the best, but cannot be taken in contention for the best.
Good move by Ferrari to get Sainz JR. in my opinion he will provide just as good skill set as Leclerc, both in my opinion are already better drivers than Vettel ever could be.
Sainz JR. got great amount of experience from His father Carlos Sainz SR. in racing.
The next decade is looking aspiring, Leclerc, Verstappen, Sainz JR. amazingly Hamilton still racing, some good prospects like Alex Albon, George Russell and Lando Norris.
We will be seeing some proper racing for upcoming decade.
I'm a Ferrari fan and I'll always be, but I'll never forgive them for how they treated Seb. We will never find another man like him, he loved these colors more than anyone else

Can you imagine if the season got started and somehow Seb was able to win the Championship? I'd be so damn happy if he left on a high like that. Also, I never thought I'd miss Maurizio Arrivabene more now than ever. He was a nice bloke and yes perhaps Mattia Binotto might take Ferrari further than him but I feel he always had Vettel's best interest in mind compared. I don't blame Ferrari for turning to Charles and Vettel made many mistakes, but Vettel should have still led the team this season and maybe next Charles can be No:1 I just feel he was hard done by. Oh and great video.

Ferrari let Seb down in 2017 with appalling in season development. Seb fucked it up in 2018 needlessly throwing away the win at Hockenheim. The car was just wrong last year.
2018 was his chance but didn’t get it by crashing at Germany and not recovering emotionally

Just to think about all the good moments that happened during this six years almost makes me cry. The only thing that we wanted to see did not happen, win the championship. I still remember how happy I was when he joined the team. It is sad that it had to end sooo bitterly. This is the worst way to end a carrier, the worst I can remember. At least alonso beat his teammates to pulp even in a gp2 shitbox. I see only 10% chance of Mercedes swapping Bottas for him even though his arrival would be a PR wetdream.

It‘s sad that all the new DTS F1 Fan‘s only know the Ferrari-Aston version on Seb and think he’s a bad driver. Most of them forget that this guy is the youngest Formula One World Champion, with 4 titles in a row and how dominant and fast he was back then.
I strongly agree with you, these new people never knew what it was like to watch Vettel in his prime, he even had the most consecutive wins in a single season until 10 years later when Max beat that record to 10 wins in a row

The pressure is what ruined him, everyone expected the greatest straight away and they hated on him because he made simple mistakes and those mistakes grew into bigger mistakes because of people expecting more after he made mistakes without letting him have a break, f1 is a great sport, with great drivers but every driver's talent is killed off by the ever-growing pressure of newer and younger drivers that you know will take your place when the teams feel like it's over, Seb was and will always be remembered as a legend and for me easily one of the best in history, we should not remember him for his faults, we should remember him for his triumphs
The thing is they never gave vettel a car with rear downforce and understeer even when he was their main priority.
