I really love Sora's win poses because not only are two of them references to the KH1, they're also references to Cloud and Squall's win animations in Final Fantasy (which is a hidden level of cute because he only starts doing that after he's met both characters)
Two things: One, when Sora holds another weapon, he’s in the same stance as Valor Form from KH2. Two, I believe Sora’s third victory animation is closer to something he does in KH3 rather than the summon animation.
When sora is put to sleep, he takes the same stance he has when losing a round in the calloseum. When using his up throw he tosses opponents like when he uses an item.

I know his moveset is largely based on KH1 and 2 but seeing as he has Magic Flash, KH3’s in there too. Though I suppose the Shield could be considered his barrier seeing as he holds his arms and keyblade in front of him like he’s using Reflect when shielding
One thing I love about Smash is that the moves and animations are so one for one that at this rate it feels like you’re just playing their original game. Choosing a character is like choosing what game you wanna play, and that game then just overlaps with another game someone else is playing, while simultaneously being able to hit each other. It’s so awesome. Like I can play Minecraft in Persona 5 or Metal Gear Solid in Kingdom Hearts and the list goes on and on.
Really love your origin series, Nintendo Unity! I really love Sora’s moveset, considering that this WAS our imagination turned real by Sakurai, and it feels really good to see an origin video of that.
Sora hitting people with the guard of the keyblade when he's grabbing them.... that just looks painful. In fact, let's be real, the keyblade is probably one of the most painful weapons in gaming. Sure, it's not an actual blade and you certainly can't stab anyone with it, but it's basically a glorified lead pipe. You could definitely bust some ribs and skulls with that thing.
If you pick up and sword, is the same animation than valor form. And when you pick heavy creates, he use the exact same animation in kh1 when you pick up a giant crate
Ragnarok would have been SO much better than just giving him another cutscene for a final smash. Literally everyone in the dlc (sans plant) has a cutscene final smash in some form and I hate it.
Sakuri really went all out to make Sora be the most well designed character in smash for his final character before retiring. I’m not gonna say best or top tier, yet, but definitely the most well designed in terms of moveset origins, Easter eggs (yes I’ve seen the beam sword memes), and hell one his alts had different facial expressions. That’s what I call a sendoff.

Unpopular opinion: BBS and DDD are mistakes that never should have been made and are the main reason the story is unsalvageable. Their gameplay is shit and their story is even worse I don't get why people like them besides it being a KH game

the move when sora twirls the keyblade above him is more like the reaction command against pete in timeless river in kh2. its when u are tyring to retrieve the cornerstone of light and need to send object flying back at him

The final smash reminds me of when he closed the door after beating Marluxia Credit where credit is due I think this is the most thorough video on his moves

In kh1 spamming counter attack with a high deflection rating went crazy as hell. I was able to shred through some bosses with it.

The problem with that is that it's KH1 Sora. KH1 Kairi never touched a keyblade for battle.
Even though I'm not a Kingdom Hearts fan, I love the attention to detail, especially the KO effect during HP battles

Unpopular Opinion: Dream Drop Distance is a good game
Is that an unpopular opinion? I don’t expect it to be at the top of most people’s list but I thought it was good.
It is a good game! Only the time travel stuff made it unnecessarily confusing. But besides that it is a good game.
