Just put order in for one of these rifles. Will see if this "2025" Bergera B14 rifle is still favoring the Eley rounds. Thanks, dont know enough to comment on critical issues ...yet lol, but can appreciate the data and your precision. 😊😊
Awesome content very thoroughly explained. One thing this series is doing is helping 'de-mystify' custom builds. I had no appreciation for what a true custom is. I'm betting heavily that Bergara will shoot great once completed. Thanks Kenny!
Ok Kenny, you have me sold on your work. I have a B14R and it shoots well but I want it to shoot great. I’ll email you to set up a call and let’s get this thing tuned up. Great series. Thanks
Loving this. I am about to receive my B14R so interested to see the end result and whether it’s worth the time and money. Keep ‘em coming, great series!
@@EagleEyeShooting thank you sir!.. I’m definitely putting some production work into this. I really love this stuff, and have a genuine desire to share my passion with others. I believe that’s the secret sauce for content!
Absolutely agree. Yeah that'll be awesome. I don't have a FB but that will definitely help. One of these rifles will be getting the original 1.250" EC tuner for testing also
Amazing really! I just subscribed mostly because this reminds me of my Dad who was a Top Machinist for St Regis & Georgia Pacific Paper Mills. His ability to figure out, make, or improve on anything amazed me. Thanks for sharing your work & keep it up 👍
Fantastic educational information. Thank you very much for sharing your gunsmithing expertise on the rimfire barreled actions. Thank you for your dedication. Do you do mill spec work on the action and bolt on Ruger Precision Rimfire rifles? I would like to have make accurized.
Love to see a before and after improvement video. New to firearms and it’s easy to buy a ‘sub moa’ rifle but not understanding all of this behind accuracy
KENNY BY FAR ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING VIDEIOS ON THE BARGARA B14. HOW ACCURATE CAN YOU MAKE THE BERGARA AT 200 TO 300 YARDS AND WHAT AMMO WOULD YOU USE? AND WHAT IS THE PRICE TO REBARREL THE BERGARA THANKS GARY
It's like having a Ferrari these barrels and actions, but when you are trying to put E10 petrol in it to race it. What I am saying is the irregularity of the ammo manufacturing is the main factor. But then you are having fun doing what you do.
the metric threads are why so many smiths either don't Want to mess with them or charge a grand to barrel one with a supplied blank. I sent mine down the road and a rimx is in my future
To change your lathe from standard to metric you'll have to change out lead screws. Not a simple thing. Not like changing gears to go from 16 tpi to 24 tpi. You either have a metric lathe or a standard lathe.
Or just engage the half nut on your number mark feeding reverse, reset depth and power feed forward again to keep the in the same lead screw groove after switching gears to metric. Old machinist trick I was taught
Did you measure the weight of the cleaned up B14R action with bolt without barrel? Would be interessting to calculate the max. weight for a new barrel contour.
I have an old anchutes 1415 spotter rifle that my wife bought new about 20 years ago it’s actually marked 1415-1416. What do you think about they’re quality?
For what this gun costs it should be damm near perfect. At this price pount i would sxpect .250 groups with ammo it likes. Ive been saving for quite some tjme to gef a nice 22. Jt down to the cz 457 varmint lefthand or the bergara b14 lefthanded model. The cz seems to shoot just as well for 4 of 5 hundred less. Leaves some money for a scope.
Is there any printed information out there on 22 reamers ? Your series came at perfect time for me building a rimfire rifle has been on my list for a while. Thank you for taking the time to document your work for us to see !
Great info and explanations - thank U Sir. But what I can not understand with all the technology we have today, why on earth would it be hard to for those big companies to get the darn recoil lug right and straight!!!! its flat guys - come on !!
Coming from the tool and die industry. Our family has made semiconductor tooling in aero space for over 62 years. We love people like you. The assumptioners. I personally make it a goal to prove you wrong
If you have an email address or someway I could send you pics I will show you what we have done to fix the problem with the Bergara mag. The corner of those plastics lips wear out very very fast and you end up spending a $100.00 cdn a year for a new mag. This would make a great vid. Our solution was simple but requires someone like you with your tools Let me know if you have any interest

Love the attention to detail you put into your builds.
Looking forward to the next video.
The more I learn about firearms, the more I realize there's so much I don't know. Interested to see how well the final product performs.
Like what you are doing here. I can see my B14r making a trip out your way in the future!!
Cool project Kenny!
As a retired toolmaker I found this pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing Kenny.
Awesome so now I need to send you my RimX abs my Bergara.. awesome stuff!
Another great vid Kenny, cant wait to see you turn this into a monster.
It’s been a great series so far by one of Arizona’s finest young Gunsmiths.
Looking forward to seeing the results. Good luck with figuring out the thread set up. Thanks for the video. Be Safe
Love watching your videos. Old fashioned craftsmanship with a bit of artistic flair for good measure.
Super interested!! Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks Kenny every time I watch your videos I learn more and more. Love the series. Have a good week sir.
Saving my pennies for one of your RimX rifles.
3:43 Finally someone else points out the major flaw in bergara actions!!!
I like your work. Being a machinist retired, I can appreciate good work!
Very interesting and fun to watch. Looking forward to the end results

I read somewhere they make there own barrels. But were ? Nice job of explaining everything. Learned a bunch. Great vid !
I believe they are made in Spain.
Great video, super interesting.
Nice video. Nice series. Good luck!
Another great vid Kenny. Look forward to many more
Awesome video love ur work …question we’re did you learn your Machining and how long have you been doing it
Looks to me like you’re taking a production rifle, and making it a custom rifle! I’m definitely interested, and looking forward to the end result.
Thanks man. Hey great videos by the way showcasing the lot testing

Absolutely Awesome video series buddy !! PS congratulations on 20K subscribers !!!
Best way to get a hold of you and looking forward to seeing the results
Your knowledge is amazing thanks so much for helping us understand a bit of what it takes to make a gun that shoots.
Awesome I can Wacth this all day amazing craftsmanship!!!!!!

My b14 r definitely preferred Eley ammo. I sold mine. Having a new barrel and stock done for my custom Benchrest 40 x rimfire
Great video, can’t wait for the second video!!
Interesting, good stuff Kenny. 👍
If there ever was a reason to buy one of your rifles, its got to be your precision. Didn't know that stuff was even important.
Great Series on the Bergara. Where can I find more information on these services? Does your business have a website ?
DPGunworks.com

Copy that Eagle eye. Looking forward to seeing your next video on it. 😁
Impressive. Did it make the rifle more accurate? If yes, want to true up my B14R?
Did you measure the weight of the cleaned up B14R action with bolt without barrel?
Would be interessting to calculate the max. weight for a new barrel contour.
I would like to see a factory bore through a borescope.
Any chance you will be blueprinting a bmr action? I like the bmr better than the b14 because the mags are more reliable.
I want a complete guide. Great work

The reamer manufacturers will have that. Appreciate watching along
Have you looked into any larger caliber Bergara stuff? I'm having scattered shots out of my 300wm and think maybe this is my problem.
My question is cost compared to a rimx action?
I'm interested in knowing if you have done this with a CZ457?
Great info and explanations - thank U Sir. But what I can not understand with all the technology we have today, why on earth would it be hard to for those big companies to get the darn recoil lug right and straight!!!! its flat guys - come on !!
Cz 457 next series!!! Lol
Thats in the works
@@EagleEyeShooting I’ll send you mine as a test subject!!!
You get far worse on M700 actions and good smiths can turn those into masterpieces, so I think you'll be able to turn it into something great.
How much does this cost?
Diagnose a CZ 457 next?
Are you guys on 70 in mo.
I'm really confused after this video
As a retired toolmaker and calibration inspector I would say that the probe angle is way to steep showing less deviation. No offence intended .
