@MetalGearMoto He was in such a hurry that he crossed over the center of the circle but not in enough of a hurry that he couldn't chase down the car to be a Karen.
Indeed, and rule 188 of the Highway Code explicitly states it's a criminal offence to drive (or ride) over the centre circle of a mini roundabout unless your vehicle is physically of going around the centre circle. Of course he'd have had to slow down to do that, which is really the point of the rule. Then there would have been no conflict and no video.
Yeah, that was embarrassing. He makes us look like little crybabies. Just flow with it. Be a little gracious. You don't have to try to catch people out all the time. Maybe they will return the favor sometime.
You ride over the roundabout and complain ? Totally bikers fault and that biker needs to relearn the road rules before he causes a big accident.
Section 59 cuts across the roundabout and has the audacity to think he was wronged. Chasing down a vehicle that can easily knock you over. Clown behavior.

2:37 This may be a reason people don't like cyclists, but a lot of these videos show why people don't like motorcyclists. As the saying goes, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Besides, the cyclists may have entered the intersection when the light was green or just changed to yellow. It’s not a big deal.
Group mentality. Cyclist, motorcyclists, car drivers. As soon as they are in a group they think they own the roads and can do as they please.
Not sure what the rules are in the country it is filmed but here it is proceed on green when it is clear. The motorbike rider is a douche.

First dude was obviously in shock and still processing the whole situation. Second dude started talking relatively soon.
The steps after witnessing an accident are:
1) Secure accident location
2) Assess situation
3) Call EMS
Of course it's ideal if someone gets on the phone soon, but unless you are trained in dealing with emergencies, I promise you, you won't have a much better reaction either.

One way to look at this is if you're on two wheels then every accident is your fault. No, it' s not really because the other drivers caused it, but if you're going to survive as a vulnerable road user you need to be better than them, so much better that you can predict their mistakes and take avoiding action before the event. Stopping at a red light = be between the lanes. Be in a position that you won't easily get rear-ended. Before you slow down be aware of what's behind and don't stop being aware until the vehicle behind you has stopped. When you get green it doesn't mean go, it means proceed cautiously while looking out for red light jumpers from other directions. Stay safe and enjoy riding another day.

Sure most say look in the mirror and be on first but can happen that in front run the traffic in that moment, since is green from them, plus take a ticket too, since you move above the line.
The stupid truck has one of those pedestrian killer-mounts on the front as well, I can't believe they're not illegal over there.
He had some space to move forward in an emergency. It may have been enough. When you are at the front you should be aware of how much space in front of you that you can use in an emergency before you get into the cross traffic.

To Me Section59, it's illegal to ride over the centre of a mini-roundabout in the UK. It's rule 188 in the Highway Code which says that you MUST go around the circle in the middle unless driving a long vehicle where it's not possible, a category which a motorcycle does not fall into. This is not an advisory rule, it's explicitly a legal requirement and states you commit a criminal offence if you breach it. Of course you'd have had to slow down, and then would not have come into conflict with the car.

I'm a retired old man now, the number one cause of death from accidents during my working life was not the work accidents but by motorcycle and car accidents. I lost many friends and colleagues. Stop riding around looking for trouble, it will find you when and where you least expect it, and your light will fade away. So many funerals, such heart ache, don't put your family and friends through this. Yes I'm a biker.

Huge ass turns you have to take with 100mph/ 180kmh are just boring after some time.. You dont need that much technique as you do for small roads.
And with the wetness. Yeah it sucks for not nearly half of the year, but the other more than a half year is great. It doenst get too hot most of the time and people can wear gear without having that much problem
Just remember we can filter in the UK, some of those narrow windy roads are as good as you get for motorcycling and generally the police leave us alone. It may only be decent enough for us to ride for leisure 6 months of the year but it's a good 6 months.

Many of these riders are going way too fast for the conditions! For all you new riders out there: One of the biggest contributors of an accident that are under rider control is speed. You want to reduce your chances of being in an accident? Slow down and ride within your abilities.
The speed of the riders in the first and third clip was zero. They still got into accidents. The accident in the third clip was particularly horrible.

You guys should do a month end compilation of the best riders. Once who forsee and avoid accidents, don't use their horns, or take off mirros. Realize that shit happens and nobody tried to kill them and went on about their day.
Most of the time if you foresee and avoid an accident, the video isn't very exciting. I've had that experience before. I anticipate and avoid an accident, and then I get home and I'm excited to review the footage, but it looks like nothing happened.

Right on. As biker Im being cut off regularly it's part of this hobby, nobody does that maliciously, would love to contribute content, but I never have it on GoPro as that would need constant recording and we all know how "long" GoPro batteries last 😅

Youre going to get cut off
Youre going to have someone do something thats going cause you stress on the road. But guys to get pissed or divert your course because of it doesnt relieve that stress, trust me i know how bad you want to go up to that persons window and scream the living daylights out of them but youll only piss yourself off more.
If no collision happened, if no one got hurt, no damage was done. Its not worth ruining your ride. If the opportunity comes that youre able to pull up next to this person, just let them know that was really close and youre glad nothing happened. Its a hard pill to swallow, the more relaxed you are about the confrontation the more apologetic the person usually is. And if they aren't, flip the bird and move on cause around the corner theres another guy about to cut you off.
As for getting rear ended...its nothing but a nightmare. I wish that upon no one.
