Hey!! Just got accepted and am probably gonna end up going here. I was wondering, do you know if there’s any way to meet future uri students that you can connect with before school starts?
omg hey future rhody ram! for my class there were some people that created some cool instagram pages so that we can get to know each other more. there’s also a freshman orientation page that will help guide you and connect you to other people!

Hey, great question! so uri is really good with pairing you with the roommate that you request. you’re asked to fill out a housing application and you’re allowed to request roommates. as long as your roommate requests you as well then you should be paired up with the roommate of your choice! it just has to be mutual and you have to request one another and accept the request!

hi! kinda late comment but are you and your roommate majoring in the same thing?
hello!! sorry for the late response but my roommate and I are not majoring in the same thing! you can choose a roommate that’s majoring in something different and what they will do is put you in a LLC that correlates with either your major or theirs! (LLC stands for living and learning community which pretty much means that every major has a certain dorm building that they place students in so that they can be living amongst other students within their major!)
