Same!! I could never keep a plant alive and started watching her videos now I have 20+. Some rescued and some bought as nodes to be grown. I have propagated babies from their mothers. All in less than two months lmao. I feel truly converted and am so grateful 😂
Because of you I’m becoming a plant lady. My husband, my mom and friends are now gifting me plants so I feel like I have such a big responsibility in keeping them alive 😅
Beautiful 🎉 My mum and I just handed a bunch of little succulents to the mum's in our church. They absolutely love them, especially because the succulents are so easy to care for. ❤🇿🇦
You have literally become my absolute favorite plant person on UA-cam, but you also have become my best friend.. You just don't know it yet.. But we're besties 😉🪴
laughing so hard at the expression on your face "Oh I thought you were!" and slyly walking away from table with a knowing nod to the camera. You kill me. I've learned SO MUCH from you!!
So sneaky, I love it!! The succulents I have by one window have gone all stretchy (turns out that window doesn't get light in the summer) and I immediately said "oooo, potential babies!"
It makes my heart so, so happy to see all of us new plant parents commenting on here about how Krystal converted us & has taught us soooo much 🤩💞🪴 Thank you Krystal for sharing your knowledge with your amazing & funny personality, & for bringing us all together - what a positive planty community you are creating❣️ See you’re not just converting people at family parties - you’re converting tons of people online too!!! 🌱
I once got a cutting from a friend's snake plant for my birthday. It is honestly sooo fun to see that cutting grow! It is definitely the most remembered gift from my party that year, even though I'm not a plant parent!
I love giving plants to people. I'm planning on making my partner a little terrarium because they like plants but their cats love to eat said plants lol.
I have struggled with plants my entire life. Mom was a gd fairy w her green thumb, but none of that magic rubbed off on me. Someone gifted me a succulent last year, and I was mortified. I've killed every plant ever gifted to me. Nothing short of a dozen over fifty years. But lucky for that succulent, I found your channel. Six months in and it's still beautiful!. I got a bit of that stretching going on, tall stems with leaves few n far between. I know you did a video on that. I ordered my boot tray, shears, and some potting mix just in case. But I'm gonna attempt to prune and propagate. Wish me luck! I'm so gonna need it.
I did this for my boyfriend! He had 0 plants and now he has a nice succulent bowl which he is so very proud of! 2,5 years later and he still really enjoys when his baby's grow and flower 🥰🥰
from the little dance in the beginning is me walking out of the store from dying plant on the shelf with pride that screams save mee 🤣 to the end where it's like look who I saved from the shelf 4 months ago🤣 from 3%life to full blown 100%life 😄 You realize no one around you gets so excited more than you do. unless you find another plant parent who loves plants and it's non stop convo with excitement . that's me I'm that friend I can sit there for hours and the men will be like WTF💀
Hey Krystal! Another way to use the window space is with moving shelves! I seen an instagram of someone putting a rod vertically parallel with the window and then putting shelves that rotate from the wall to the window!
winter is when my dad starts trimming off parts of his kyoho grape vines to give to his friends and neighbors! the main one in the backyard is so cute in summer when it starts growing big dark green leaves (for spiders to hide in 💀) and then when september rolls around and you get fat sweet grapes and loads of birds to birdwatch…. he is such a green thumb and i love that he is excited to share his hobby bc he barely speaks english (he is japanese)
My friend had a graduation party last weekend and I brought her some pothos cuttings and she was obsessed! Too bad she's been plant person even before I was, but at least she could appreciate the gift 😌
Now we need a video of you making chips and salsa or carne asada, or chips and salsa with carne asada, or whatever you want to make because your content is great.
Celebrating plants with Krystal...is there such a word as 'propagator'...its a clear vote, very hip and solid advice...we should plan and gift more plants
I (an obsessed plant lover) has been trying to get my best friend (thinks im a lil strange) into plants. so far, ive gotten her obsessed with succulents. shes creating an army. i should make her one of these lol. plus her love language is homemade gifts so ❤
I had no idea what I was doing when I adopted Fred, my aloe vera, from a friend when he moved and nearly killed him 😭 but my mom repotted him and I still had no idea what I was doing and then I found your videos and he’s springing back and got new growth and everything and every time I water him I hear your voice saying “drown that hoe” and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me bring him back from the brink.
I made my mother a beautiful pink (and obviously) green themed plant arrangement, some flowers, succulents, i know I'll have to take it apart soon but it's just so pretty
After watching your videos I went and got myself 9 plants lol Edit:it has increased to 14 Edit 2: it has grown to 21 If anyone got me a succulent garden I would love them forever
That's a beautiful idea 😊 my daughter loves succulents but got discouraged when the one she had died 😢 I just have to show her your succulent care videos and she'd be on her way to make her succulents thrive 😊❤🪴
I swear, you have been posting the exact same stuff I’ve been doing, and on the same day !! If that makes any sense 😅 just got a bunch of little succy’s and lil cacti. I just need to get a wide shallow pot ugh.
I saw a succulent at my sister's house and that was that. I now have hundreds of little babies growing on my office window sill and am wondering about getting some more 😅
I love plants specifically for my aquarium I set up a 40 gallon in February and I have not had to do a single thing with it since. Only topping off water. No water changes and the water is crystal clear.
I need the temperature outside to start being consistent so I can plant my damn catnip! But at least my rose bush is starting to wake up from hibernation
How I am converting my mom who swears she kills all plants. Buy her outside plants for summer, like I got her a big mandevella or whatever its called, 5 years ago, she loved it so she brought it in for the winter. Then since she forgets about it. I water and aerate it when it needs it. Then, at Christmas, I got two cacti, and used the excuse that they are high light and need the southwest window in her kitchen since I don't have any. So they are on her windowsill :) Then, at Easter, I found her a pink panther (can't remember its real name looks like a tiny pink trandescantia) and since her favorite thing is animal print, AND it's right in the window next to the cacti above the sink so she started to water it all by herself like a big kid!! So then this week we were at the garden center for outside plants, and I had to obviously stop at the tropical inside part and she found herself the pink tradescantia and she was all excited about it being the same as her pink panther but having bigger leaves, so now she has THAT in her window too and she has two elephant pots for her pink plants AND she bought one an elephant that hangs off the side of the pot. I do check to make sure she is watering them but she is :D She doesn't even know she is keeping them alive!!! So proud... Also, I hate cacti, they are mean and evil and my ex got poked by one once and literally had to use 3 epi pens and get a hole drilled in his head bc of the allergic reaction it gave him (the hole was to relieve pressure around the brain from the swelling), so cacti are extra evil to me now... but they are pretty much immortal so I had to go for it just to take baby steps with my mama :) Funniest thing, she was watering the cacti with a literal teaspoon so she wouldn't over water, so then when she would leave the room I would drown that hoe and be like "good job mom"
My wife things I’m crazy 49 years old always did the guy things. Fixed cars built cars and motorcycles and drive a big rig turns out I have a green thumb and I love my flowers. Indoor plants, outdoor plants carnivores plants. I can’t get enough of them.

Awww, well that’s very sweet of them.

Beautiful 🎉
My mum and I just handed a bunch of little succulents to the mum's in our church. They absolutely love them, especially because the succulents are so easy to care for.

'You cant talk me out of it if i stop listening' vibes😂
No one talks about how addicting owning plants is...at least, not enough. I've been hooked 😂
You have literally become my absolute favorite plant person on UA-cam, but you also have become my best friend.. You just don't know it yet.. But we're besties 😉🪴
You’re so sweet! Thank you so much love!!!
Everyone can foster, then adopt a succulent. It's the gateway plant.
It then turns into a full blown hobby!
@@PlantswithKrystal Hobby? Obsession! 🤩
"Someone you can talk to about your plants" made me happy! Plus, I just bought some shallow terra cotta pots for succulents!
