Most people who say oh find your spot its part of fishing blah blah are usually fishing a spot someone else took them to or told them about. Confidence is always a big factor and letting someone know the river doesn't hurt at all so long as its not a super small stream or creek. Also, the river conditions from what ive experienced is the biggest factor in the success ive had or not had. Learn what flow each river fishes best at and try to fish it once it gets to that point after being blown out. Helps push fresh fish up. The water having a green tint is the best as there are times where its super clear and youve got to really fish it hard and as stealthy as you can because even if you can only get a bite or two, catching any is worthwhile and theres always a chance even one fish can be a double digits hog. I had some personal issues and didn't do it for years after i was about 16 or 17. My pops and i just got back into it and its really reminded us how great it is fishing with your loved ones
Welcome to Ohio, I came across your channel when I looked up trout fishing in Gatlinburg TN, I took a trip there in October 2022 definitely want to go back and trout fish. But awesome seeing you up here I'm also in Northern Ohio, I'm close to West Branch resvoir known for big muskie, hope to see you guys up here again..
I genuinely liked the go out and find your spots intro. To me thats all the fun of it, sure its great catching fish but i never had nearly the satisfaction i got from putting the work in myself.
I wanted to thank u guys for getting me involved in fishing again....after watching ur vids and hearing u talk about trout fishing in elkins wv...I went as a kid but quit going for for the last 10 years...I remember pautzke from back then and after learning more I always tell ppl pautzke is the greatest American company and I mean it...was glad to see u guys in plastic worms and eggs..ur plastic is the best and scent is amazing...I love how u sell cheap multi color packages so I don't have to carry a bunch of jars but still have diff options..anyways thx for showing the great things in wv that I forgot about..I needed trout fishing in my life and have been getting others interested in it again as well
Well, doesn't appear to be a lake. And yeah I hope you convince people it's one of the rivers that isn't stocked therefore gets a much smaller run than other spots
@@TeamPautzke okay great, thanks for quick reply. I am going to hit the salmon river next month and don’t have access to fresh eggs living 4 hours away…..love the vids!!!!
Hi Skank! As I'm sure you know, these videos go to an editor, after filmed. The editor doesn't fish. They cut out footage necessary to put the video together. In fact, we caught many more steelhead that didn't make it into this video because it would be an hour long. Sorry if he didn't place those in perfect spots for you. Anyone who fishes the area knows we used white - and pink, because they work.
I been fishing that river since the early 80 s if you think the fish are big there go upstream another 10 miles the biggest and the badest go there biggest I ever landed was 17 pounder

Right. I'm from out of state and don't have time to explore. Last time I did i got surrounded by homeless and druggies.
@Pwrcritter lol, what, Euclid creek? I was there once as a kid. Heard gunshots and saw a guy run through the creek. In february.
My guess is this was either the Rocky River or Chagrin River! Nice Stealheads!
Nope

Glad you are out fishing! Hope to see you on the water.
Another awesome video as always ! Keep exploring and delivering us baits that crush !
I love that area. It's pretty popular but you didn't have to walk far from the car to get on em!
What river is this if you don’t mind telling me
what river is this
Great vid but would love to see the bobber downs as well!
Question about the roe sacks in the video, are the eggs cured with the natural color?
Nice vid (and enthusiasm), but can I ask what net you are using?
Nice catch 👍🐠
Your feet stink !
That might be Lake Erie or the cuyahoga river that feeds into the lake

What floats are those my buddy has some and the guy who used to make the moved??any info
U mentioned that u cured the Pautske trout eggs with Borax O Fire? Is that an absolute or can u bag them right out of the jar? Tnx Don
Don,
Most fish them right out of the jar. No need to cure them. Some anglers just want to.
