Ramai warga Malaysia kini alpa dan dayus dengan pengorbanan dan OBJEKTIF awal penubuhan MAS. Selain itu, "the so called aviation experts" juga buta maklumat dan taksub. Mereka perlu tahu objektif penubuhan MAS. MAS bukanlah sebuah entiti niaga berasaskan keuntungan semata-mata. Ianya merupakan entiti yang penting dalam pembentukkan dan penyatuan Malaysia.
Kepada MAS, walaupun anda sering menjadi bahan kritikan. Terima kasih atas segala perjuangan anda. Terima kasih kerana menghubungkan rakyat, mengintegrasikan masyarakat, memajmukkan bangsa dan budaya, mendidikan dan membangunkan sumber tenaga kerja dan mengharumkan nama negara ke 6 benua seluruh dunia.
Terus terbang tinggi, hadapi rintangan dengan tabah dan kecapi kegemilangan! Terbang tinggi MAS!"

My primary school headmistress, Mrs Chong, was in the first batch to Kirkby. But I believe she took the ship instead. She's in her 90s now and still fierce as ever...

So lovely to read your responses. My father lectured in the college in the ad and I was just one year old when we moved there - 9 when we left. Ede, Dragon Day, Chinese New Year, Diwali - all were as familiar as Christmas and Easter.
Multiculturalism was the norm, all the students, no matter their ethnicity shared a passion - to free their mother country.It was a wonderful, successful experiment, a magical time!! May our Gods Bless Malaysia and all who taught, worked, learned in Kirkby College!

im not being racist. maybe 50 years from now, it'll be only showing how only Malays contribute to the road we've (or just the Malays) been through. the chinese and indian will soon be the forgotten children. hope this ad will be played in the future, priceless. i missed my Cikgu Zuraida, cikgu Shanti and cikgu Chin.

does anyone know where can I get the old MAS Merdeka commercial ad arr? it's about 3 folks after they got old. a chinese flying back to msia, the malay and indian waited for him at the airport and he has a mini plane holding. how they were separated by wars... and at last rendezvous. that's my favorite, please let me know if you had any idea
