Bro for me it seems like u have used the same chords used in the original song but still u say it's not the original progression. How do u say ??pls explain.I also watched Mr.Issac thayil's tutorial on this song even he said the same that he was not teaching the original chord progression.Is it hard to find out the original chord progression??Plss explain me.But for me it sounds like u have used the original chords only..
Sometimes in music its different for each instrument. Keyboard will be able to play something but it can't play what a bass guitar can play. The song was done on a very electric feel. I only took the bass line and made it sound the same way. Acoustic to electric also there will be difference. It doesn't have to be the same chords but can make it sound musically correct. A professional guitarist will be able to play an exact chord but a semi pro like me who likes to sing more than play the guitar would just choose chords that match in my mind and enjoy the process of singing more than finding the exact chord. Am I making sense ? Sorry for the elaborate definition for your doubt. 🙏🏾😊
