Queen Medley - Halloween 2024

We are a family from sunny Tucson, Arizona.
We did our first animated light show for Christmas 2023. Halloween 2024 is our second show and we're gearing up for Christmas!
Our entire setup is 12V. As you will see in the videos, we outlined the house and our windows with WS2815 LED strip lights, and then used the WS2811 bullet node pixels for the various props. We run our show using a Kulp K64D-B with beaglebone black. We're powering most of the show using HP Server power supplies with breakout boards from Wizard of wire. Our standard boxes are Kulp differential smart receivers along with Falcon F8 power distro boards.
Most our props are purchased from our local supplier Gilbert Engineering. The garage matrix is comprised of 12 of their 2X4 garage matrix panels at 512 pixels each for a total of 6144 pixels.
I cannot begin to list all of the articles we read and UA-cam videos watched along the way as we learned, but we are thankful to all. If anyone comes to mind on UA-cam it would be “How2Pixel.” If anyone is great about breaking things down into lay terms and helping a newbie to get started, he is the one.
We won First Place with our Christmas Lights show last year and are hoping to capture that honor again this year!
