- This was a big month in paleontology, and for us, so apologies for being late.

The UA-cam Algorthim has blessed me, it's beautiful to see this comprehensive, non-sensationalize, summary of recent scientific work!
That's our goal!
It is always really impressive the way you weave a narrative through all of these different studies!
Thank you again for these amazing summary-videos! I love watching these!
Thank you so much for sharing these
Nicely done!
Great summary of the month as usual. Thanks for the effort you put into these videos
Well Callaghan, Bagaraatan Ostromi is a Juvenile Indeterminate Tyrannosaurid.
Let’s go!
Very interesting as always - thanks.
The news seems to focus quite heavily on the mesozoic rather than the paleozoic. Is this intentional (e.g. focusing on dinosaurs etc) or is it because there are more fossils being found for this period?
It's because it's different. A fossil rhino, even an early one is "just another mammal, we see those all the time". A dinosaur is totally unique, and other than birds nobody has ever seen one, so it seems exciting. Because of this funding exists to study dinosaurs, and a handful of other groups.
You gonna be at ANAS this Saturday?
That's the plan, with a poster!
Cool, it'll be good to chat at your poster. I'm judging some of the student posters and I have the first talk of the morning.
Microsaurs are not related to living amphibians, that’s almost certainly temnospondyls. Microsaurs probably are either early amniotes or on the amniote stem.
From what I've seen they are generally considered as Temnospondyls, but I know there's a lot of debate that far down the tree. I know of at least one person working on a lot of the base of the amniote amphibian split, so hopefully there will be better in the future.
Thanks for the recap. Now I can argue with people on Facebook. 😊
I don't get on facebook because I like arguing too much.

Please adjust the pictures in the background so they aren’t off kilter. Love the vids
Ooouughh i juat noticed tbat your paintings are tilted :/ its distracting 😅
We're working on it. It worked on our old camera, but this one is more accurate. Them being off made them look aligned on the old one.
Is it just me or does the paitings in the background being out of alignment really trigger your OCD? 😅😅
Thanks a bunch for sharing this with us Big Dog!
