Potentially $30,000 per year tax free for 2 children under 6 and 2 children 6-17. That probably does not apply much to original Canadian families of today that are saying they are choosing to have no children due to economics.
I tend to disagree with Tom when it comes to Trudeau possibly making more money in his future career. Seems to me that he has made more money for himself since he was elected, than the actual country has. The country is in debt, but he isn't. He's done quite well for himself since he was elected. So have others, like Trevor Noah, and Zelenskyy. The WE brothers weren't as lucky. They got caught, but they almost got the money.
The problem the Liberals have had for years is nominating leaders based on image rather than substance. I almost never vote Liberal, but I would definitely vote for them with Chrystia Freeland at the helm.
When he decides to go, Justin will go down in history as one of our best PMs. The programs he brought in have helped millions of Canadians who would otherwise be much worse off.
