      I'm from Argentina and I'm discovering the Turkish and Altaic world thanks the social media; then I search material for reading. I can't explain with words what I feel and think when I hear these type of songs and when I see diverse images (from people living like as ancient way of life in Central Asia and then you, the western Turkic people, somehow the heirs of Byzantium).

    • @recep2939
      @recep2939 4 роки тому +2

      @@ericstutz2047 The heirs of Byzantium will be wrong. Let's say the heirs of Ottomans or we can say they're not just an heir of Ottomans but they're Ottoman themself. Even that will be wrong because of Azerbaijani Turks and Turkmens so heir of Seljuks probably will be more appropriate. In the end, we are the founders. Our way of living is not that far from our brothers if you going deep you will see. Oghuz people (Turkmens, Azeri Turks, and Turkey Turks) are really similar in lots of ways. The Western Tartars also super similar to this group. Uzbeks and Uyghurs are more like the middle between Kıpchaks and Oghuzs. Kazakhs and Kyrgyz people (Kıpchaks) are just like our ancestors. Yakut people and other people that live in that far are a whole different story. Of course, there are lots of small different groups that right to have their own category but there are a lot of them so...

      The lyrics are so deep and complicated that even I, as a native speaker try so hard to comprehend each and every statement. Translating these, unfortunately, is not possible. The reason is that you MUST be pretty familar with Alevism. As you you've somehow come across with this tune on UA-cam, you must've realized "this music" has no race/language or religion. It penetrates right through the heart and calms you down. No need to translate in this particular case ;)
