W - preview document without guides
drag and drop image into document - we will have to choose frame size upon dropping

( I wanted to print the transcript to keep as a handy reference when I get bogged down - but someone hijacked it & is a Vietnamese story :) Please make more in this short, concise format for baby step learners like myself! This was great, every other tutorial has been so long and confusing - this is the perfect summary/ beginner style introduction to Indesign.
But if you really want to learn you have to spend more than 9 minutes learning so yeah long but worth it

thank you for your concise format! And for not making a 3 1/2 hour video as I just passed over. It's so easy to scroll / scrub and find what I need to learn. It's so preferable to pause and deep dive on my own rather than numbing my brain for 3 1/2 passive hours!

You took the words right outta my mouth.
Another suggestion would be to add how you can shuffle pages around, change the width of some pages, stick some pages together etc. That is another cool thing in Indesign and it's not there in the other Adobe softwares.

I started using InDesign when it was in Beta. It’s a juggernaut. Combined with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, it’s nearly unbeatable.
I do, however use the Afinity suite of software at home, because it’s way cheaper, and almost note-for-note in comparison to Adobe.

So much of this went over my head lol. There are a lot of terms I don't know and I guess it's assumed in this video that you know the terms in order to actually learn from this.
Hey! What are some examples of the terms so I can take that in consideration for future videos

You mention the tools "stroke and fill" but don't say what those are.
You also mention layers and layer tab, but I have no idea what that is. I have a few assumptions, but I'm not 100%.
You mention guides and gutters but I have no idea what that is.
Just a few examples. I think knowing these terms and concepts would make the video more useful for a very green beginner like me.
