That black and orange gives it a "ready for action" look. Pretty cool!
The blue nightshift is very nice too! Distinctive and classy.

That scrambler icon is speaking to me with those spoked rims and the blue paint work on the bike; it's really a great looking machine which isn't that much of a supirse as ducati has been my favorite brand in terms of styling for quite some time seeing as they always nail the look and feel of each bike.

I am Ducati Scrambler owner. 2018 Mach 2.0 edition (RSD) I pretty much like all changes but particularly the TFT display. That being said, I will keep my MACH... looking forward to upgrade with this new TFT.

I loved the old look of this bike so much. I thought it was just perfect! I was afraid that the slightest tweak to the styling would ruin it for me. And that’s exactly what happened! I still like it tho.

The Full Throttle looks amazing and if you don't need the power of the Indian FTR it's an stylish option for sure!
I personally don't need a tft at all, but some may like it.
I would just not describe these as "retro" anymore. They are pretty much standard modern naked bikes with a long time proven motor and round headlight now.

The styling is fine, still retro, but modern. I like the new dash (although if they flip 90 degree, with the square portion on the bottom, that would look better). I hate the old dash (i.e. rpm is completely messed up). Nightshift would be my choice.

Overall I like the way Ducati have cleaned up the appearance of the bike, especially getting rid of that loopy throttle cable. Bars look a bit wide for filtering between cars with big mirrors. Probably replace them with something narrower. Head to head with a Triumph 900 Scrambler.

Is that scrambler any good off road? I mean, it doesn't weigh much, it has spoked rims and good suspensions (?) so on the paper it should be good even off road, right? Let's see in the future... thanks a lot for the videos, I had a chance to see the Suzuki 800 V-Strom, the new Honda Transalp 750, but I'm not so sure that it is good off road and now the Ducati Scrambler. All of them have to be compared to the Yamaha 700 and the KTM 890, or maybe the KTM 690 R. What a battle!

I’m so in love with the Nightshift one… at the moment it’s winter in the US, and I still don’t have my motorcycle driver's license, but I hope I can do it all by 2023… it will be a dream to get this bike…. I will be happy with the Interceptor 650 by RE or even a T100… since I’m short, but putting in the work to get more weight (I’m 5’7” 154lbs) I think the better beginner bike will be the Ducati… the screen is like a push back because it doesn’t fit the “freedom” from everything (digital world included) but in a certain way I think it’s one of the reasons I might choose this one… it will be kinda futuristic, I can see myself taking the side panel off in the future and trying to make the electrical with that hollow look as well, maybe a nicer custom made exhaust and the bike will be perfection in my taste… ⚜️⚜️✌️✌️✌️

I'm going to paste here, what I already wrote under Ducatis own video on the new Scramblers:
Let's hope they don't fuck up the update of the Desert Sled in half a year or so. The new exhaust routing is nice. I preferred the old headlight. Also don't like the plastic tank cover and the like, looks a bit cheap. But seems like one can just take that off. I was a fan of the side mounted rear shock, but especially on the Desert Sled it got in the way when standing up. Likely they'll fix that. Unfortunately 13,5l for the tank on a Desert Sled is a bit weak, but they will very likely use the same tank as the other models again. The display honestly looks absolutely horrendous, could've integrated that nicer. The graphics on the display are fine, just the physical form of the display looks absolutely stupid. I quite liked the old round off center two-color LCD. Unfortunately the service interval couldn't be increased like on the latest Multistradas, 12.000 km is very weak compared to the 30.000 km the Multistradas get, and they are much higher strung motors. Let's be real, having the Desmodromic valve system on a bike that revs to 10.000 rpm is frankly ridiculous.
Let's see what they'll be doing with the Desert Sled, but I'll probably be buying the current model, not this new one, whenever it might come out.

I prefer what they did with the 400 sixty two in the way of the exhaust system as 1/ It kept the heat away from your legs. 2/ You could service the cam belts without taking the header pipes off. It also means if you can't service the bike yourself that it makes your service cost a lot cheaper when it comes to replacing the belts as the job is a lot quicker & easier without having to remove headers. I think that the tyre looks too big for the bike, the same with previous 803cc scrambler's. It doesn't need a tyre that wide, & I feel it simply adds unnecessary weight & cost to a new tyre. The tyre size is very odd & so the choices for tyre options are limited & expensive. I would have liked to have seen an off road mode as well, especially seen as how it's going to be compared to the 900 Triumph Scrambler off road. The Ducati's edge is it's much lighter weight than the Triumph but I feel it does need an off road mode as with the low gearing the Ducati is a hand full off road. I think having some adjustability in the suspension height would add some flexibility with suspension height depending on the height of the rider. The Scrambler classic seat height suited me but I found the Desert Sled too high. I could have gone to 830mm at most to gain some extra travel in some situations. No one has yet come up with ride height adjustment at the press of a button, that I know of. I think if the new TFT is more legible then I'm all for it. The old round instrument was confusing with rev counter going in reverse & I could just read the ambient temperature & clock. If it packs more information & is more easily read (bigger), then I'm all for it. Us oldies don't want to have to wear glasses just to see what's on the instrument cluster-ie: see the time for next coffee stop. lol

I rode a DS at ragley hall and it was like a toy (in the worst ways) I find it a very feminine bike also (small, dinky) I love ducati tech and how they are pushing with that, I would expect more from the 900 engine though, on the test ride it rode like a 500, my XSR700 felt much better. I wish yamaha would make a much better XSR than they do, I want all the MT tech and 'design language' but in an XSR body. Trident comes a little closer, I am waiting for what I hope will come which is a 660 scrambler from Triumph, But i'll ride one of these and if it is more for adults and more aggressive in styling, position and engine then maybe.
