I watched this video many times and convinced as well with the given strategy. I want to understand below points
1. Every Week do we need to follow the same strategies as given for 300 points (210 Max Profit and 90 Max Loss) OR it's all around the ATM price on which the pair (CE/PE) was bought ? What would If pair bought 400 Rs then what would be Max Profit and Loss ? Can you please give an example on that as well ?
2. Can you give some example weekly wise where total fund/money has involved

yes you can but doing in weekly is better as you are giving less time to the index to take a movement. in monthly you are giving more time to the index to move in either direction. hence the chances of crossing of the wings are more.

you said, maximum lose will be premium buying only if market not in range of 300 points. i have done analysis in excel and done paper trading if market far 300 points (14550 or 15150) from selected ATM (strike 14850) you will be in lose and it will be greater then you premium buying price.
also this strategy work only if nifty rang of 150 point from ATM either above or down. so if strike is 14850 yo will get profit when nifty range is 14700-15000.

1) one strategy never work always thatswhy I am telling stay with 3 different strategy; if one not work then others work.
2) Sir strangle not work if index moving one side so what is the other strategy which work against strangle.
3) assuming our strategy is saddle then when it not work mins max chances loss. When nifty 15000 saddle premium was 300 now nifty 15350 & saddle premium is 200 due to vix down 24 to 16

Already replied, but is friday open at 9:30 not at 9:15. Time frame does not make a difference follow one time frame always and you will make money that's the key

Anyone doing this strategy? I tested it from January 2023 till August and it gave bizzare results. Only in January it gave 17k profit but after that, too many losses. And to my surprise, RR was 1:1 for most of the trades. How ? Please explain sir. I wanted to implement this strategy as I don't find time to watch the screen continuosly.

Question - Here you said maximum loss is total premium paid for Buy (PE and CE) calls which is ATM-300, ATM+300 is Roughly 90 , which cover 210 upper and lower side. If I want to increase this coverage by more 100 points then I should buy (PE and CE) calls which is having ATM-400, ATM+400 and their premium is definitely
you can balance of make the loss 0 by bull and bear spread, think how you can
Maximum effect loss would be 160 points since max loss is difference of stike price but effective max loss is = stike price difference -(premium received-payed premium)
That is 400-(300-60)=100+60 that is 160 max effective loss
Currnetly Vix is only 13-14. We are getting only 600-700 points premium by selling ATM (PE and CE) Banknifty ATM strikes for weekly expiry. So our range becomes less. Can we still trade on this strategy? Any modification needed?
Yes you can still trade, yes higher the VIX better the results but no issues

Sir looking at the current Nifty Levels and premiums given should the spread be 300pts or should we increase it to 400pts or 500pts. As the straddle itself if sold gives 250pts and if we take 300pts away then total premium bought comes up to 125pts. Please give your take on this.

If the market moves by 600 points and stays down. Then the Put Premium on the day of Expiry at 3:15 p.m will be 600, will there be enough liquidity at that time and price to square off the position?. If we see the option chain the ITM options liquidity falls after 400 - 450 premium, Very less people are trading at 500 - 600 ITM Premiums
in round figures there is always liquidity, you can check that on any expiry

Premiums are not this much high these days..I am writing this message on Wednesday evening but the premium difference for next week expiry ATM CE and PE combined is 204..it will be not more than 185 on Friday..

No max loss can be premium paid by buying CE and PE for hedging. the rule is if you receive less premium the wings will be nearer, if more premium received wings will be far

I backtested this for the last 3 years and i can seem to get profits only in last one year. The remaining two years I am only getting losses. Am i doing anyhing wrong?

Sir, very nice and confident explanation. But, just go to Opstra and backtest weekly IronFly. The results are pathetic. It is a limited loss strategy but it is not a consistent profit generating or income generating strategy.
I believe if the market cannot take away your capital it has to give you, and I test manual, these automatic testing softwares some time gives wrong result. I have been working on this from a long time. And i get results by power of rules and consistency

This video is an eye opener.... Sudhanshu Ji, Is it required that we square our positions on expiry or are they auto closed, stock options are on physical settlement, how are index options settled?
They are automatically squared off but it's better to close them manually at around 3:25 pm sir..
And unlike stocks, indices are cash settled..
Square off the call or put which are ITM else let them settle on own

Lets suppose you have sold a ATM call put of 35000 receiving a premium of 800 rs then you have to buy a call of 35800 and put of 34200. That is your range is total premium received.

Premiums will always melt, as all the premium standing are mostly Time value, VIX is very time bound, it lasts for a very less time and then gets eradicated from the premiums. if you are considering India VIX is high then to be very clear it has no or very less relation with option getting melted.

Past two months I am trying to do theta trading but whenever I try to put orders I get a message in zerodha that this strike price u can not put order due to high open interest . Please suggest what to do
