We didn't have a lot of Christian music on the radio in my area growing up. I am just hearing them for the first time today and am bummed I missed out on their entire music career!! We needed more music like they make. There's 2 Christian stations in my area and one of them plays the type of stuff that is more like choir and really slow stuff but the other station plays decent stuff and I still never heard these ladies. If they had given the same exposure to these ladies as they did Britney Spears or NSYNC I think they would have been even more popular than they were.
My all-time favorite song from the Barlow Girls. Love how they and the Newsboys balance themselves out. Just wish that more of their songs would be put in rotation on the Christian radio stations, especially during the Christmas season, honestly ☺👍🙏🙇👫⛪🎅🎄.

I tend to look forward to my friends' birthdays more than my own. I count down the days as a little kid might before Christmas Day. I put a LOT of thought into my gifts too. I have been known to make myself busy cooking pizza and washing dishes while my 'guests' are comfortably watching a movie. The spirit of giving can have a lot of applications outside of Christmas. What is more is how much the 'art of affirmation' is needed at other times of year when Christmas is forgotten.

Very beautiful... and so full of hope and peace. I sometimes like to play Christmas songs in my head in the middle of summer or other times of year because of the hope and peace they bring when life gets hard. And the PROMISE FULFILLED.... what carries more hope, peace, and joy than that? :)
