In our place in Isabela, Philippines we call that "babadil". It can even brake a bottle cause we add a silencer to it. And we use wet paper as bullets. It freakin hurts and its fun and easy to make. Brings back the old days.. By the way, just a 90's kid here passing by. Haha

your kamplok is oplok..a good kamplok or luthang is "sipa". it has a lot of variety..that's a regular one "luthang", the other one is nicer its called " magazine". u can fire like 8-10 consecutive shots using unripe papaya fruit as its bullet and lastly and my favorite is the tirabusog we call it..it a little dangerous cause using antenna as the luthang and tree skin or coconut as its bullet.

Here in the US, in the South, they have toys like this at gift shops and gas stations that are sold really cheap for kids. They attach a little handle to the smasher part to make it look like a little pistol or rifle and instead of fruit, peas, or wet paper, they shoot rubber from pencil erasers and corks from wine bottles sold in little bunches with the toy.
