We have both new 6300m-CX switches and 5604zl cores. I definitely prefer the older AOS-S operating system, as it's much easier to work with. The AOS-CX is a merging of the AOS-S and CISCO commands, but is mainly like a CISCO. AOS-S is why I moved to HP in the 1st place.....to get away from CISCO, however i'm wondering if HPE-ARUBA is planning to completely discontinue the current line of AOS-S switches and only sell the CX series switches ?? We have had some strange VLAN issues when mixing the AOS-S core with the new CX switches, so I would avoid mixing them together. While AOS-S can only be monitored in the Central Cloud, the CX series can be both monitored and controlled by ARUBA Central, however, once cloud enabled, you basically lose 95 % of your normal CLI ability, and have to patch changes into the running config !! I REALLY hope HPE-ARUBA changes this !!

@@mukeshsaranu3598 Thank you. 5400R great product uses AOS-S (pvos) operating system(OS). Converting 5400R models to CX OS is not flexible because of hardware resources are limited. AOS-CX is data base driven micro services OS, please migrate to CX 5420.
      Thank you,
      Yash
