    In this video i'm going to show you guys how to install air ride in your car. I bought the airlift 3p system to install in my 350z but pretty much all airlift systems are the same with the exception of the bag/coil portion and those are similar as well.It really is not super difficult, it just takes a lot of time and patients but it is definitely possible to do on your own. So I go through, ad detailed step by step to show you each part of install an airlift kit into your car. This is definitely a longer video but the air ride process has many steps and I wanted to capture them all. Enjoy!
    As always this video is for entertainment purposes only and I am not responsible for any harm on injury done to yourself or damage done to your car.

    Bro, thank you so much for this video. Truly the most detailed air ride install for a 350z and straight to the point. I'm installing the Endo CVT and can skip a few steps, but watching your video gave me much more confidence on installing the system. Thanks man!

      Hell yeah man! Glad I could help! I definitely want to get an endo tank eventually, it would make the whole compressor situation much more enjoyable lol those things are loud as hell. Good luck!

    If you run that exhaust line out to the exterior of the car you will get that loud hiss. Great job. My install took couple weekends because I had to make a trunk board and drill into my car for the airlines. Airlift's direction on my model I needed to drill some big holes.

      @KyleHidalgo  4 роки тому

      Glad you got it done man! Yeah I ended up drilling a hole in the rest wheel well and getting a fitting to put in there and connect the exhaust to. It's way better than having it routed in the car lol

    Your driver's seat is getting tore up in the same spot as mine... and your door panel's got different shades of black like mine.😑
    I just had to gut my interior+clean Everything b/c of white mold. Water was leaking into the hatch area before storing the Z for months during summer...a leak i didn't know about.
    I got the fabric/covers off the foam+I'm debating between fixing that area of fabric (by an upholsterer) and putting $80 seat covers over the oem seat fabric.... Or buying custom fitted seat covers to replace the oem fabric. The door panels will be a future project.
    Sweet setup on the air👍👍

      Yeah, I got some new seats coming in at some point, Corona is causing everything to take forever to ship... Damn man that friken sucks... I had water getting in my Hatch area too, it actually ended up being from where the rear bumper clips go in to by the tail light, so I sealed it with rtv and it's all good now. Might want to check that spot. What's stopping you from just getting a cheaper pair of racing seats instead of seat covers?

    Awesome video I’m doing a DIY universal air kit and wasn’t sure about splicing into the ignition wire would the add a fuse work as well for the wire from the pressure switch? Btw it’s a manual management system so it has paddle valves for lowering and raising the car

    Awesome install video! I’ve wanted bags for so long but 4K seems to high for me to pull the trigger, what’s a setup like this run used?

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  5 років тому

      You and me both! Lol I'm so stoked to finally get them. Yeah it's outrageous, I picked up this setup for $1700 used so not bad at all. Might be worth it to piece a kit together used, probably save a ton. There is a used air ride page on Facebook

    What do you do if you fuck up drilling the holes on the top part of the bags in the rears

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  4 роки тому

      Shit sorry, just saw this. Like in the body? Probably would have to get it welded and try again. How'd you fuck it up??

      I didn’t but i worry about it if I do

    • @KyleHidalgo
      @KyleHidalgo  4 роки тому

      @@brandonfelt1486 honestly it's pretty easy, it would be hard to fuck it up because you use the parts on the bags as a template. If you did though you'd probably have to get it welded or I'd be worried about safety

      Pretty much every bag set up is the same if not very similar. The only difference that diffent cars make is the routing honestly and the rear bags which are probably easier on most cars since most cars have a full shock set up in the rear instead of a shock, bucket, and separate spring. The routing is definitely not that big of deal, if you can route sub wires you can route bags and at at most your have to drill small holes for hose routing. It's not complicated
