I don’t have one yet =( but it’s okay, i guess i can just write to my friend next door. I asked my mom if i can get some stationary and she said sure! I’m very happy about that 😄

I wish that I could give my pen pal as much as you do, but I’m still growing my collection, I didn’t know how expensive having a pen pal could be, not to mention the cost of stationary adds up and much more. But my pen pal and I are okay that our letters are not as beautiful looking as yours or others because we are new ones and we have plenty of time to grow our collections, plus we like the letters.
You're gonna need a whole entire box for the extras!!

I love you! This is how penpaling should be done and i would love to find a penpal like you! I love sharing my stash and making things extra special, with care and thoughfulness for my snail mail friends...its difficult to find a snail mail pal who reciprocates. You're awesome!

Reading the comments, it seems everyone is more concerned about how much you gave away rather than the purpose of being a penpal. It's all about the connection and taking time out of your busy day to let someone know you are thinking of them and that you value their friendship. All the 'extra' stationery is just a way for the sender to encourage the receiver to continue the correspondence.

I decided to go back to snail mailing, three to five people to write to would be ideal. All right.
Then I spent maybe a bit too much on a couple of stamps, the ink, some cards, airmail envelopes, 3 notebooks with lined paper that kinda looks vintage but isn't super expensive, washi tape.
Then I try to look for inspiration so I can send something that looks decent. Now I see this. How much would that letter cost if you were to sell it? How awesome that you put all that effort. It makes me feel lazy and uncreative xD

she most likely gets her extras from aliexpress!! i have a bunch of stickers super similar to the ones she has, you can get boxes of 40/46 sticker flakes for ~80 cents usd [some with free shipping!]
AliExpress is the best place to shop for stationery. It takes a while to ship but it's worth the wait. When you get the stuff in the mail it's like Christmas and you didn't break the bank stocking up.
