Actually you can make a video comparing same groceries from aeon , jaya grocer , lotus , mydin for its price and see which is cheaper. Just like your chicken rice video! Cant wait
I bet wet market is way cheaper
Yeah jaya grocery is for orang kaya
We have actually! Almost 2 years ago :) scroll back and you’ll find it!
You need to do it again, inflation that time is not crazy.
@@JamesDeanDiedIn1955depends where also. I go Puteri Mart in Puchong. Will spend minimum rm350 weekly. Now I started to go to a Malay shop, i spend average around rm200 with more items. things in Village Grocer IOI mall is cheaper than Puteri Mart
Personally, a few things that I prefer buying from Lotus's:
1. Grade C eggs 30s - RM12 +/-
2. Lotus's UHT milk / chocolate milk 1L - RM5 +/-
3. Broccoli - RM3 +/-
Grade C eggs 10s at Jaya is selling for about RM7-RM8 +/- and UHT milk RM7 +/-
for veggies with a lot of water in it, you just need to buy 1-2 days worth, because it will go bad fast, for chicken, if you buy breast meat, buy it in 2kg packet its cheaper, for seafood buy in the market not supermarket, i find that supermarket seafood goes bad way too fast. for dry ingredients like spices or garlic, buy in small quantity, you dont need 1 year worth.
I buy groceries weekly and spread my options among 3-4 supermarkets. I used to only buy at Jaya Grocer until I found out from my restaurant friends where to get better deals. Can really save a bit here and there, which adds up in a month a lot. If out of convenience, then just close one eye.
Sometimes i just be walking around looking at stuff. Not even buying LMAO
😂 blow aircon free
yeah... shits getting expensive, I remember my mom being able to get groceries from Giant, with RM120, can feed a family of 5 PEOPLE, but ofc, this was back in 2008, HAHAHAHA good times... all the best for providing groceries for children pita :)
My family only had 3 members shopping at econsave & aeon/jaya grocery(mainly for fresh ingredients) and spent about 700-1k per months.Imagine family with 2/3 childs. My dad said in 90s he only spent 600-700 per months with 6 family members & still we can eat like a monster
Only atas people shop at Jaya Grocer and Village Grocer
Mr Money is "Atas" ppl.... So, how then to determine the groceries purchased by man on the street ??
Peanut butter and apple is good❤ I eat it as a way to gain weight snack.the food has been expensive. For me, my grocery consist of raw food. My 1-month grocery consist of RM250-RM400(with detergent whatsoever). I buy my eggs at nearby pasar. At supermarket it cost RM8 while the pasar RM6.5 for 10 eggs
I eat once a day. So when i buy groceries, i buy for a whole month. Brown rice, 1 tray of eggs, one type of protein (fried chicken, taiwan sausage, luncheon meat or fresh pork), bread, jam plus some type of vege. For me, 120 enough to eat quite a lot for a month, usually i spend much less, like around 80 only. Yes, i live in KL. Yes, I'm single. Yes, i rarely, if ever, eat out or order food. I only spend 100 plus when i need to buy oil, sauces or cooking condiments, which lasts me for months before i need to buy it again.
Why they buy at Jaya Grocer and not NSK or Econsave?? Already I find this video kinda sus
Our staff very atas.
@@MrMoneyTV boss borek, staff rintik😂😂
Nsk & econsave are very cheap for household items like shower gel, floor cleaner, detergent etc but if you wanna buy fresh ingredients, I prefer to go to aeon or jaya grocery.Little bit expensive but more fresh.
NSK is not alot cheaper though...quality wise jaya grocer is better..
This 2 girls buy in Jaya grocer confirm is expensive one. Some more the corn cost up to RM5, well I don’t one judge her for her personal preference. For vegetables, Jaya always expensive because the shopping experience in there, and they pick organic vegetables.Well , if you really one to shop cheap, nsk is really good choice for vege and meat, probably Rm2 you can buy a bulk of bakchoy to feed for 1 week for 2 pax
honestly, we still can further lowered the costs by going to local market and choosing the cheaper alternative products. For some buying oatside already considered expensive la... 😅

i like maxine's t-shirt👍👍 great content once again from mr.moneytv
My daily routine, hunt for the clearance section. Jaya Grocer usually bundle buy 1 free 1 while Village Grocer will just half off. Better to get the half off as the food expiry is usually a day or two away. So yes, welcome to my B10 lifestyle 😖
For me its RM 900 and more ... every month
I am terrible spending almost eating outside... Just now burn rm 300 at fine dining 😩
