Peggy Carter AKA Agent Carter was based on a real WW2 spy named Virginia Hall. The first season of Agent Carter is almost Hall's bio. Virgina Hall later later helped found the CIA.

Ali Plumb is by far the best interviewer in the world. No one, not a single other journalist or host can make an interview look as natural, effortless, genuine and at the same time interesting, truly captivating. Hayley is always terrific too. This was 13 minutes of my life I would never want to have back.

Could not agree more. For me, it's Ali's ability to joke & have a good time with these celebrities like he's known them forever & always ask them great, interesting questions. Way too many interviewers try to get humor, but it ends up being cringey. Ali makes it feel organic & natural, like a conversation with an old friend.
I've never met anyone famous, so I'd probably end up looking like a babbling, stuttering fanboy just running into them on the street, let alone trying to have a coherent conversation.

thats not what she said. its amazing how you people hear her saying ''im doing it more than you'' and twisted into ''im doing it better'' or ''im a woman so i had worse''
let get this out of the way, jen knows bruce has been through worse, and doesnt claim her problems are bigger than his.
but the fact is, she indeed control her anger quantifiably more than he did, because unlike bruce, jen didnt have to worry about loosing the control to an alter ego. and her anger issues will never cause same amount of problems that bruce's did.
and she said this because she pissed that he assume from now on she has no option other than being a superhero that lives on an isolated island and no saying. thats why she said ''all of this just feels like projecting a lot of shit onto me''
this wasnt the show's way of saying jen was right and bruce was wrong. this is an imperfect protagonist having an imperfect opinion. an opinion that she get called out on it in episode 2 and 9.

But it's exactly what he should have said, to emphasize the next part. Being insanely proud of someone you don't know is a little stalkery and a little human-in-the-best-possible-way. We reserve that intensity of feeling for people we know when, in actuality, it's not uncommon to feel it for strangers performing onscreen or onstage. It's not mean or condescending to feel proud of someone you have seen go from costume drama to MCU to M:I movies, but it does feel a bit strange. Kind of like you might be overstepping a boundary.

Yes they do know each other well. To be able to have rapport like that, where they're almost finishing off each others sentences (and seamlessly pulling off the Labyrinth Skit) they would have to have known each other very well, and you can't be proud of someone (not even oddly or weirdly) unless you do know them very well.

Tom probably deserves a directors credit at this point seeing him that involved. Chris is a great match for him. Fallout was such a rare movie sequel theater experience where your expectations were at least met but then it just goes nuclear on those expectations and I remember genuinely loving how pleasantly surprised I was.

Check out an early Hayley Atwell performance from the 2010 television miniseries of Ken Follett's novel 'The Pillars of the Earth'. No spoiler alert here other to say an excellent period piece from the 12th century in which Hayley Atwell portrays Lady Aliena. Great cast indeed, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Matthew MacFadyen, Eddie Redmayne, Donald Sutherland and a whole lot of incredible actors and actresses. Even a cameo by the author himself, Ken Follett....🏰 It's an 8 episode miniseries than runs about 6hrs.?(about 45min. per episode) Follett based this on The Anarchy/The White Ship period of English history. This is a great story, filmed incredibly, sets - some built from scratch, costumes that fit the time period, military hardware as well. In my mind a complete A+ miniseries, of which introduced me to Hayley Atwell and I haven't stopped watching this very talented actress.👍

Ali Plumb definitely has a unique style, tone, and rhythm to his celebrity interviews. It must be refreshing for the guests, who have been asked the same generic questions dozens of times during the press tours, phrased in the exact same ways. He's also lightheartedly funny, but not in a try hard kind of way. I also dig the light background research, random non-sequiturs, and flying off into tangents! This interview with Ms. Atwell was a delight!

I'm so happy for her. Having been a big "Agent Carter" fan (and "Captain America" of course), and having a young son also into the MCU, we were at what I believe was Hayley's very first Comic-Con in Seattle and got her autograph, where I got to tell her how much I loved her "Black Mirror" episode and how I thought it was almost a futuristic remake of "Truly, Madly, Deeply" which she seemed pleased to hear (although, she could have just been acting, too, but I like to think it was genuine). Great interview and I'm seeing the film on Saturday on the Paramount movie lot in Hollywood, which is supposed to have possibly the best Dolby Atmos theatre in the world, or something like that. Can't wait.
