Halpp i have the same exact dash, 07 gmc Sierra 1500. Except i have no buttons. I just bought this truck amd can not figure out how to operate the instrument panel. Any suggestions?
If you press the button in instrument cluster you can scroll the display. (Button like older vehicles that resets the trip). Sounds like a base model... or close to it.
@@GoFast605 no, that's too high. Check the inside of your door. That's what gm says your pressure should be. "Oh but that's not the right size" then check the owner's manual, that'll have the diff options for your truck. "Oh, my size isn't there" then those tires shouldn't be on your truck.
@@GoFast605 just because they CAN hold that much air foesnt mean they SHOULD. The recommended air pressure is largely due to the weight of your vehicle. Not the tire size. Running too high a pressure (such as 60 psi on a bloody sierra/silverado) will result in excessive tire wear in the center band of your tread, as your whole tire wont he contacting with the pavement.
I guess I dont get your question. If you have the recommended air pressure in the tires that is on the door it would not light up saying to check the tires.
the oil pressure is not normal if you think it is your wrong my I have same truck same motor and mine is very low but you will see when you have to get a new motor
proseinc proseic i have 223k on this engine. Oil pressure has been the same for the almost 100k I have owned it. this pickup and hundreds of others I have seen run the same psi. yet they are on the road. it is a normal psi.
I Have a 2008 Yukon slt 5.3 vortec, about 278k miles, oil pressure at idle is about 30? Could be a little lower, been through 3 different tires and never had incorrect reading of psi always 35-38, some tires need a higher pressure because 35-38 might be way too low (tires are nexens 265/55R20) my ram has nittos 265/55R20's as well that operate at 50-55, it just depends on the tires
Your volt gauge is waay too high and your thermostat gauge is waay too low too and i think your engine is idling a little high what is wrong with it???
Koalafications4Dayz it is charging the battery, the engine is in open loop so it is at a higher idle because it is cold. Since the engine is not at operating temp the temp is low as well....
My 2009 sierra doesn't have the "relearn tire positions" option on the menu like yours. Mine are backwards I want to relearn them.
If you have a keyless entry fob you can press lock and unlock to enable tire position as well if I remember right.

@@GoFast605 Thank you very much, that button was harder to find than i would have thought! I looked a good 5 or 6 times.
You are welcome sir. Enjoy the sierra!
Shit thanks man
60 psi !! That's a tad over pressure.
It really isn't. Every pickup is different. I saw some with 20 psi and some as high as mine.

@@GoFast605 also, the average tire (unless they're LT) cant even take more than 40-50 without being at risk of blowing.
@@austinculley2871 I ran LT tires.

Would anyone know if the tires are size 22 does that mess with the air pressure that the truck is used to having ?

your oil pressure to high should never be over 35 at idel must have clogged filter and tire pressure should not be over 40
proseinc proseic the oil pressure is normal. and the tire pressure is normal because I had it set higher my the tires I run
