Glad to see Tradingview is following up, do i need to buy extra data (level 2) feeds to use this footprint chart?
No, but the data may be more accurate if you do.
ok..how do you use those for buy and sell for day trading?
I’d recommend watching the footprint when the price is trading at key support and resistance levels as determined by other indicators to view overall buyer and seller optimism to spot a reversal or continuation.

If TradingView is running a sale they may not be offering free trials. You should also try using a new browser or incognito window to sign up using the link in the description, it should be working.

How to use the footprint charts because i am still confused
This video was mostly made to show you how to access and use it on TradingView. As far as strategies I’d recommend combining them with other indicators to help determine buyer and seller optimism when the asset is trading at key support and resistance levels.
