Drop tops are what's in and command more pricing. I blame California. Me personally I prefer hardtops. must be super clean if asking for 51k...
I was actually going to ask, what makes this one so much more? Just the fact that it's a ragtop (and clean, obv.)? I agree with your comments but I'm sure someone will still buy it. Brand new Vette's being marked up 20-40k on top of MSRP are still flying off the lots, so there's plenty of dumb people willing to buy cars, right now. Not saying you'd have to be dumb to buy this, this is more practical than spending that much over MSRP on a new Corvette, that's for sure.
This car in a bigblock SS 4 speed , you would be spending almost 100k

I don't want a car with a 454 badge and a 350 under the hood. Especially for 51 grand and broken interior parts.
Love the tail lights on 71, but I love the dual headlights much better on a 1970. If only I could have both . Both are incredible
