Thank You for this Video. I lived in Walthamstow for 17 years, and now living in Barbados. It was so nice seeing one of my old bus routes again. You made me miss Home (UK). I enjoyed the bus ride...Good Job!
I watched the bus ride video you posted these days, and I saw that life in London seems to be very leisurely, Everyone walks slowly on the street, rides a bicycle, the cars on the road are not driving fast, those people in the food market and bars seem to enjoy chatting with friends, and not many people are addicted to mobile phones on the road, the surrounding Traditional buildings are very stylish, Not being buried in the concrete forest of the city is very different from my life in Hong Kong. My side is full of workaholics living in the concrete forest. People are very indifferent, very tense every day, the pace of life is so fast that people are mentally ill, and the working hours are too long every day, so I don’t enjoy life at all. If I have the opportunity, I will choose to live in a place like London. Thank you for let us know about london
At 24.21, Drapers Fields...aged 20, I lived on the road on the left, Downsell Road for 8 years, my nan and grandad lived there for as long as I could remember though. At the opposite end, there used to be a proper old school sweet shop run by this lovely lady called Beryl. It had the big jars of cola cubes, lemon sherberts, etc and as a kid visiting the grandparents, i always remember her throwing in a few extras. The place on the corner with the red door used to be an off licence run by this man for years. Sadly, i think he got robbed a couple of times and in his later years installed a massive cage inside his shop with him and his stock behind it. Also, useless fact..... at 8.33, ths church on the right, St Saviour's, when I was about 13, I spent the night in there when I was in the scouts.
A trip down memory lane for me. Born and raised in Forest Gate I was a regular on this route. Shopping with my mother to Upton Park or east ham, later on visiting friends near the thatched house or going to leyton orient and in the other direction my first job in Silvertown. I think the 58 used to be extended there in rush hour. Routemaster buses and conductors. My first kiss outside of the thatched house pub. Not sure if fancy all this speed bumps and 20mph speed limits now though!
Guessing begins at 9:27AM and ends an hour later? Love your channel and will be in London this spring. When last there, we stayed near the Blackwall terminus and always grabbed the top front seat all the way to Trafalgar Square...bus 15?
Thank you so much for the wonderful video! I especially love your videos for the very professional way in which they're made, the map at the beginning is an absolutely fascinating detail that makes them so unique. I have a question though, at 1:02 it gives the hour at 21:27, confirmed at the end as 22:27. How can it be so light in London om winter time? is it an error?
Again all I'm seeing is one huge lack of town planning. Overcrowded roads, lack of parking, street clutter, litter, traffic jams , noise and neglect. I am also seeing a number 20 painted on the roads, that probably means a restriction on speed. How thoughtless? How are emergency vehicles meant to navigate through these narrow horse and cart routes? That means the locals have now even more longer commute times to and from work. What a miserable life it must be. There simply doesn't seem to be enough road space. What about vehicles being parked on the pavements, are they not a hazzard for blind and partially sighted people??? The video also reveals how run down and deprived these areas look. Surely there must be some money for improvements in road and pavement quality? Hopeless
Try it at 5-6 pm and it'll take you 2 hours from Leyton to central park.disgracefull.had to let London go a big shithole that ruined 15 years of my life
I'm from Indonesia can only enjoy watching this video. let it be as if I was on vacation to London🙂

Very light for 21:00 in winter

It's a very good-n-clever-n-lovely decision to show streets of London as is!!
Being housebound these are a godsend
Now I remember why I moved to Perth Australia
I escaped too. Nightmare, pure punishment on a daily basis. Chaos
Good morning🖐️✌️ Fantastic view 🚶👍🚍

The Bus I use to take to school! Old school memories! Am doing the bus tours too in numerical order. Going to take forever haha.
You will love them all!
That trip start time of 21.27 can’t be correct. It’s still light?
In the summer it doesn't get dark until 10pm
It‘s recorded on Dec 5, 2022, so the question is correct 😉
Maybe its morning and used 21:27 instead of 9:27
@@koelschequeen I didn't realised it was recored on 5th December that's my birthday lol and the sun sets at like 4pm

Most Likely filmed on the evening of the longest day last Summer
I think his clock is wrong and should be 09.27
@@phyllisj73 Yeah, that seems likely.
Narrow streets again!
There not that narrow.
Looks like the time is wrong on this video too
You know you're in London when...
A lovely ride through the beating heart of real working class East London where the business of being a proper Londoner gets done.
❤
Is it 9:27 in the morning ?
Can't imagine it to be 9:27 PM in December in London
