I gotta be honest. If I had to deal with the mouthy rude, annoying childhood friend. Or the sweet, kind, and likable new transfer girl. Yeah, I'd pick the new girl in a heartbeat 💓. That's the problem with childhood friends. Sometimes you get really good, sweet people. And sometimes you get rude, hateful, annoying people. The childhood friend here definitely falls in the later category.
But the biggest problem? The MC is a bit dense.

@@someoneyoumightknow17 The way how she follow the MC around when she is first introduce into the story. We find out later that her father pull strings to get her to live next door to him. She even made a pseudo threat that she will defend her position of being his neighbor. Also, the way how she held the MC down before the childhood interrupted them. It is not obvious but there are hints scattered throughout the story.

Very great story! It looks like Kaname's wish about having a famous transfer student came true for him. I'm really happy that Kaname and Ai started spending time together, even though Momoka interfered and forced Kaname to join them. Now he has to spend his high school life with Momoka and Ai.😅 In my opinion, I'll say that he has to date Ai because she's nice and kind to him.
