MPs pay tribute to Sir David Amess after he was killed

- Members of parliament have been paying tribute to the life of Sir David Amess in Westminster today in a special sitting of the House of Commons.

They later filed out in procession to St Margaret’s Church for a memorial service.
As a tribute to Sir David the prime minister announced that the Queen has granted Southend city status, a cause for which the late MP had long campaigned.

The person who murdered David Amess did not give a toss about how UK politics works or how rude MPs may be to each other. His motivations come from within the community he belonged to and the religion he espoused.

What’s the point of criticizing people’s angry opinion while they were protesting to protect their civil rights ? (With respect) You can be as nice a person/politician as possible & do as much as you can for your local constituency. But if you don't speak out against your party when they ruthlessly tear into the infirm vulnerable (PIP) & cause 9000 extra deaths in the first 6 months (many of them suicides) then you are tarred with that same brush.
