When you place a room put a transporter in the room you're building from push it up to the ceiling and when the other room is still blue you can transport to The transporter and drop over into the other room before rendering to see what it looks like before you render it
So I’m also using the video you’re referencing to build my dojo. I made the same mistakes you made lol. Got ahead of myself and had to delete half my build.
can you make a video explaining what rooms can connect to what rooms. I dont understand why a dry dock cant connect in some places. I watched several videos. Explain multiple floors? Is the a boundary that you are putting these rooms in and how do you see it. Is that why the storm guy made his base a rectangle?

as a beginner it's a huge help and of al the designs I've researched it seems the best looking
Also you can rotate the room before you render it by clicking r3 on PlayStation not sure on console
