- In Part 3 we're building out a full conditional rule with multiple conditions and actions. You'll learn about using IF/THEN, ELSE-IF, ELSE and other actions that make Rule Machine perhaps the most powerful home automation app on the market.

Yeah! Thanks Sooo much just in time for me - I have made use of everything I learned in part 2 - I am ready for more advanced stuff - perfect! Ready to start ...
👍 - _also_ for the YT algo! 😊
One thing I wish you showed in a video - conditions on triggers. For example I want my motion control to activate only when the light is NOT on. If i want the lights to come up for 10 minutes for example, if I don't have a condition on the trigger event the lights will also be turned off when someone moves in the room, but the lights were manually turned on at first.
For Part 4... This rule, BUT, if I double tap the switch at any time all the lights come on to 100% and 5500K and stay that way until motion is inactive.
Thanks for taking out all the super speed clips.
this reminds me of solving a math equation in high school :) Nice walkthrough!
That was great ! I am already using this stuff. I have a somewhat complex rule that locks our garage ACCESS door to inside the house when Amazon is making a key delivery. Needed to make accomodations so it only does this when one of us is home , and DOESN'T do it if I am in the garage or I OPENED that door vs. amazon. Lots of logic. It all works. NOW ... I want part 4! You are on a roll might as well get the whole rule machine capabilities shown in youtube videos now, right? ;-)
I love Hubitat and have great respect for all the work put in by the team but for me the RM is way too cumbersome. I am used to program in C++ and have spent many, many hours with RM but it's not for me. I now use Node-Red flows which interact INSTANTLY with HE. NOW I can use HE's full potential!
Thanks for a great series to make Rule machine more user friendly for me. Is there a way to add - do not turn lights off if already on?
Could you make a video on how to set up the Inovelli blue switch series switch with Phillips hue using the Hubitat hue integration?
I dm using the hue integration with the switch, but all my smart lightbulbs are blinking and I can not make them work correctly. Thanks!
Can you add a rule that corrects the time in the uk for me every few seconds, else Hubitat hub kills itself?
My head hurts….
Mine is fried right nown😅
