I am(or maybe was) an avid Stony shipper but only from the comics. Steve and Tony had such a different and all together better connection in the comics. But even though I never shipped them in the MCU, Civil War was the straw that broke the camels back. I am so peeved at Steve(or the writers) that I just can't enjoy the character anymore like I used to. It is really really hard to get into the mindset of a person who loves him when you don't trust him anymore.

Okay, Ironstrange, because i don't think that Steve would be happy in a relationship thats not with his love from 80 years ago or something, even in the movie he goes back in time and lives the life he wanted with her. Strange suffered a heartbreak, and i think that being in a better relationship, where both of them could help each-other easily, would be the best for both of them. As a plus, THEM AS DADS OF PETER IS THE CUTEST. And you CAN'T prove me wrong.

@@call_me_kaylee4755 yeah, i dont think a lot of people who shipped Stony ever really forgave Steve for leaving him in the dust for Bucky and the fact that they never truly rekindled anything close to what their friendship was, and ended on basically forgive but never forget respect. I think Stephen was slowly building up something fairly similiar but in a more fascinating way and I truly think they coulda done great things with their building bromance if Tony wasnt sacrificed smh

Honestly Steve and Bucky are endgame and Ironstrange just works bc that short time Stephen met Tony he immediately cared for his well being, Tony included. When Stephen had that panic attack seeing all those outcomes to stop Thanos, Tony comforted him. And when Tony was stabbed, Stephen didn't hesitate to give up the time stone for him. THAT'S LOVE BITCH

Um he gave the stone cause he was orchestrating everything to go as planned for that 1 possibility he stated prior. I ship IronStrange, but you misinterpreted all those scenes. In IW, Stephen didn't give two shits about Tony. There seemed to be tolerance in Endgame though.

Honestly they're both good!! And they're both easily interpretable as canon, through the right lens. The main thing is this: Stony was never going to work out. I really like Stony, I think it's fascinating and they have a lot of chemistry, but they were always going to be toxic. Civil War is PROOF of that. BUT IRONSTRANGE?! Ironstrange has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. It's just a shame Tony died before they really had a chance to grow on their relationship. But think about it- They were in ONE MOVIE together (I don't count EndGame because Stephen was de-snapped like seconds before Tony died), and yet somehow we have SO MUCH FUEL FOR THE SHIP!! We got banter, a wink, two almost-hugs, like FOUR DIFFERENT dramatic scenes of them looking at one another, and STEPHEN LITERALLY SACRIFICING THE WORLD FOR TONY'S LIFE. ALL IN ONE MOVIE THAT WASN'T EVEN ABOUT THEM!!! And even AFTER TONY'S DEATH- There's stuff we can interpret through an Ironstrange-lens, mainly the fact that, after Tony's death, Stephen pretty much took over as Peter's father-figure character. ANYWAYS they're both really good, but Ironstrange for the absolute win.

Well after endgame we can say that strange chose to give up the stone so that Tony can die 5 years later which is sad. Honestly I was happy to think that ironstrange( preferred it more than Stony) was a thing. Yeah definitely not in the fanfiction way but I would like to see more friendships between them like hulk. But it was not strange or thanos most importantly it was Russo. They choose that destiny for Tony knowing that he was always ready to sacrifice his life everytime.the moment I saw Morgan realized everything cause Reddit spoiled it long before it's release. And the script writers and Russos failed to give an proper explanation of Steve's ending too. I also cried for Nat as much as I did for Tony. So basically the thing is the og6 is end now. And something new like ironstrange ( of course their friendship) won't ever happen. But personally I think Russo just ended the spirit of iron Man character. I mean I have seeing it since 2008. He was not supposed to be a regular guy.so certainly sudden appearance of Morgan made it clear that that's the end of Tony. Would the director of iron Man had the same plan of Tony's fate? I don't know it was certainly his thing. I mean I was ready to accept that endgame was the ending of og6 but didn't think that Reddit shit would turn true. Again now I have to see a Nat move without falcon and Steve. And Steve's been together with them since a long time. I have a lot of respect for Peggy but I am not sure if I was happy at Steve's fate. Death, age everything matters but those stones and alternate reality shits can still do something.🤔

It had better chemistry then stony. Steve always ditched tony and lied to him,he always made tony feel bad. Strange always was there when they first met,for example Strange actually saved Tony (I know it’s because thanos) But Strange actually cared for Tony more then Steve did. Steve lies to tony numerous times and never apologized which is a really shitty thing to do.

My theory
Tony used to date stephen until he found out that steve was alive. He loved steve beacuse his parents used tell him heroic stories of captain america. In 2012 tony broke up with stephen and started dating steve. They married in 2015 and then divorced in 2016 because tony came to know about steve's secret boyfriend james Buchanan barnes. Steve leaves tony heartbroken. Stephen rescues tony from siberia (aftermath of civil war) and then takes him to the sanctum (yes he has already become the master of mystic arts). Stephen helps tony out of his depression and anxiety. Tony realizes that he still loves stephen and they get married after 4 months. Stephen and tony adopt Morgan(tony adopts peter in 2012). Harley visits them sometimes and they live happily ever after.
Bonus: Tony survives the snap
