I unknowingly rode Flashback on what must have been one of the last operating days ever. I never hated it like some - it was super unique and as long as you braced yourself for the onslaught, it wasn't too painful. Great recreation!
@@DavidVitrano Current intamin track, with their triangle shape, wouldn't work with such sharp turns I reckon. Also, this design and the inversions/elemente are really outdated.
Good job--Loved riding Flashback on my visits to Magic Mountain--too bad it was removed from the park. There are videos of the real ride, but they are too shaky, made before the days of cell phones with higher quality video.
I wish the BM track type connectors in No Limits fit the smaller diameter supports, but that is not a reflection on you at all. This is top-notch building and creativity (even in thinking of rebuilding this old thing) Awesome job, JasonZ617.
i feel like this would be such a sick ride if it had a little more speed and made by a different manufacturer. can you imagine whipping through this thing oh god it’s orgasmic
This design was just too ahead of it's time. If B&M or giovonlia did this on their own, they might've been able to improve or would've right away the SEATING-yes, transporting the ride three times and not being on their game quite yet (more so B&M at the time when just starting out) wouldn't mean perfection. But if the "space diver" model had floorless sit down trains from B&M, or the giovonalia trains we see on goliath or titan, how much better would this have been ALREADY? Now let's add in revamping minor sections and doing something about too many straight sections and BOOM-you've got 2022 and on's B&M "compact coaster" entry onto the market! SIx Flags would be happy to put them in several places.
Did you read the description? It opened at Great America, moved to Over Georgia and then moved to Magic Mountain in 1992 where it was renamed to Flashback.
0:46 that sound in all horror movies
inaccurate, this one actually looks smooth, and doesn't make a louder sound than a fighter yet. Great job though
Wasn't it originally smooth? I thought it only became rough because of how many times it was relocated.
@@alecvip7562i’m pretty sure it was horrible from the start
@@dibble1331I rode it at its original home and it was horrible from the beginning

Six Flags Need's to bring this back somehow.
oh god please no
@@koenberkvens5302 B&M Has the technology to make sure it's overall smooth now these day's! 😐
@@DavidVitrano Pretty sure this wasn't a B&M tho. Thought it was an Intamin.
@@koenberkvens5302 Sorry Intamin has the the technology to make it smooth. 😬

If retracked & smoothened out and trains replaced with Mack spinning cars, it could actually be a decent ride

Thank you so much for that! :D
Much smoother than the real one!
It's too smooth. I didn't once hit my head on both sides like I did when I rode Flashback. 😂
Nice sounds!
Seems like it was built for capacity first, thrills never.
Well done for bringing it back to life

Steam workshop please?
Can you do recreation of Shockwave at Six Flags Magic Mountain please?

Can you download this coaster?
JasonZ617 are you going to put any of your coaster that you did recreate into the steam workshop?
I think you made it a little bit too smooth
I knoooow im sorry :c
@@JasonZ617 Don't fell bad. There's no such thing has to much smoothing to make it a great ride. The smoother the better. 😉
