@@FibaFanatic I’ve read the manga and honestly some parts I believe that were in the anime were portrayed on par to some times a little better; specifically some emotional aspects. Even though it’s 90s anime it still tells the story pretty well. But yeah the latest movie with CG definitely added that more dramatic element to the last arc.
At ending Slam Dunk has the greatest panels on any manga ever created No dramatization like Kuroko no Basket or what common shonen (Naruto etc..) But it takes you to a journey that will make you feel that you are in the audience (Be part of the story) no anime/manga ever made me feel that way... Glory to the greatest Mangaka

Haikyuu!! has great animation and lovable characters, and Blue Lock is exciting with its psychological elements, but the emotional weight and sheer thrill I experienced watching Slam Dunk and Eyeshield 21 remain unmatched. These two anime made sports feel like more than just a game-they made them feel like life-or-death battles where the stakes were personal, and that’s why they stand above the rest for me
