@@Angelavaldess Thanks, but i do not invest on my own I use a market expert who prefers i invest in large cap companies with cash flows and strong balance sheets. Some of which are AAPL, VHYL, SCHD & NVDA.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

What about SOFI? She’s been buying pretty heavily it’s the only stock that I mutually own with her even though I plan on buying Tesla under 155
I’m going to buy Tesla at $110. I think consumers are actually realizing that EVs are terrible for the environment and far too expensive. China is big on EV production and are using filthy coal. The equivalent to refuel an EV compared to petro is that electric equates to $9.60 cents per pretend gallon of gas.

The pullbacks have been across the board, even your “fundamental” sound companies all got crushed. Travelers went below 25 in 2009, along with all. We are still maneuvering the 40 years of losses in 2009.

Tbh I think you should look into losses in more detail. As a business owner, I often print a minor profit or minor loss but strong revenue growth. Why? Because why pay the tax on the profit when I can reinvest the value for future growth. The tax would be an inefficiency.

When Tesla is a software business it will be worth $2,000 on the bear case. You invest on future returns not what they are now.

I agree with you on coinbase! Nobody uses it because you pay for everything! You pay to buy. Sell and cash out not including all the others fees. AND they bleed the hell out the stock! The SEC needs to stop all these people from bleeding their stocks dry. Enough greed already!!!
Only thing that puts me off PATH is the SBC which is why the FCF is positive. The company is doing everything else right, the risk is microsoft eating its lunch. Gross margins of 85% net retention of over 120%. If it can turn on the money machine and keep taking market its a future 100bn company.
if you are buying a company whose profits are contigent on some uncertain outcome you are not investing you are buying an option

Once Tesla gets to that point where they’re fundamentally more than a car company. You will be a paying a premium on that.

I would not exactly put my money on Tesla the company alone . But I would put my $ on Elon he gets things done . Tesla is down now but he will definitely figure it out and when that day comes it's gonna be way more than a car company ,and yes it's gonna be premium prices . Gonna have to pull a long hold .

You are right about Tesla. I see them as potentially a real world ACME Corp. or Stark Industries like company involved in literally everything. Army like Lockheed Martin, phones, AI, consumer robotics, software...but, for now, it's just a car maker. No value there yet.
