Thanks Skippy. You mentioned the spikes, I found a way to use them fairly effectively. So during my last play through (searching the Navezgane poi's) I didn't use any material stronger than wood on the main building. I think this was due to my defenses. Two double barb wire trenches, surrounding two rows of scrap metal spikes with the stick spikes sat on top. The zombies that made it to the barb wire trench almost always ended up on their stomachs. This meant they crawled into the scrap spikes and couldn't really get up on top for the stick spikes, they just kinda layed there. The only thing that did make it onto them was the dogs and they were usually at death's door anyway. Minimal repairs afterwards, mostly on the cheapo barb wire. I started re-watching the previous series and there was something I'd overlooked. You said you'd played underground, I thought I'd give it a go on my random gen. So far I like it, haven't seen a single blood moon yet, I just upgrade "the bunker" every 7th day! Next play through I'm going to live in the hub, on the flipside as the yanks say ;) Didn't watch the modded series dude, sorry. That stuff all seems weird. You pay a company for their product, then rather than accept their balance and concepts you alter it. I'd just buy another game if I wasn't happy. If I knew how these days I'd just write my own again, rather than fiddle with someone elses creation.
Base looks awesome. I think the towers would look cool if you keep the tops flat. Maybe add some blocks around the edges just to accent the top and give it a castle look. Figured I'd put in my two cents since you asked. However you do it, it will look great.
Great Episode. I love the two towers. It really adds to that building and in my opinion I think a flat room would go better since the main roof is flat!! By the way the new intro is sweet..I've been meaning to tell you that for a few weeks. Lol. Thank You SKippy!!!

No, it's because I'm using a clunky controller, instead of a finessed keyboard where the controls are set up a lot better. I simply clicked the wrong side, used to holding a mouse. If I didn't know how to focus, why are you getting a 45 minute video a day?
Great episode skip love what you did with the towers it looks great. Maybe some iron bars around the door ways you created instead of railings so you don’t fall and have access. Other than that no suggestions it looks fantastic!
He placed the pipe elbow on its side instead of making it rotate. I have done this myself before when placing something important. It's like you get worked up so much that you forget which button does what lol and then you cuss like a sailor afterwards. Especially in this case as he just can't make another one, he has to buy it from the trader which you never know when they'll have one in their stock to sell.
I think you should do correlated tops and along the hotel roof as well (that's place a block skip a block) like a castle has so defenders have something to hide behind

Didn't know if you know this or not but in the military base if you go into the bathroom and look up at the ceiling there's some iron bars you can bust them and there's a body of her and it's usually have great loot
Hey Skippy, Have you tried closing the game out as soon as you get killed and re starting the game? Choose to re spawn close to your bed roll. I tried this over the weekend and it re spawned me right where I got killed.
Hey what are your settings on? As far as difficulty level zombie spawn rate and what not? I like the amount you get and am trying to change mine to find a challenge yet still fun
do you think the fun pimps my code the game so that the shirt and pants of a zombie has its own lot section by pointing to it i thought of this when skippy cursor was over the arm maybe not cool idea though im sure it could be coded in by someone who understands the hit boxes

I wish they would add very rare mining resources like zinc and copper and stuff that are used to make brass. Because brass is man made, but is made with resources like that. It would help. Or they should change it back to being able to scrap dukes coins. Because I have 250k coins on day 57 and shit for brass... nobody needs this many coins lol. It’s such a waste when I need brass.
yea thats why i dont go overkill on the traders tbh. they added no scrap so people didn't accidentally scrap them. In settler's mod, the master coins i added to the game all scrap to brass.

I don’t go to the trader maybe once a week? I just dump everything in a chest that I will sell to the trader, and once in awhile I fill my bike and backpack and go sell it all. They should atleast give the traders a lot more brass for sale. Even if it’s crazy expensive. I never find any brass on my traders. And I’ve found 5 traders so far in my random gen game.

Dude, they are on different corners. they aren't going to line up, this is done on purpose. that's being a perfectionist. what you're looking for is symmetry, and symmetry is nowhere close to perfection. If anything, all the towers line up to the opposite one correctly, that's being a perfectionist. Not everything in the world needs to be a square.
And that safe that was in your house, that you wish you could reloot, you can. Put one piece of wood or anything in it. And leave it for ten days. Then open it, take the wood out and close the safe. It’ll refresh the loot. Kinda cheating, but hey.
100 wood is nothing man. takes me about 10 minutes at this point to gather several stacks of wood. they do more damage and aren't permanent. iron is incredibly more expensive than wood hands down.

Stuff the trader doesn't want to buy can sell after he restocks. You can just leave a chest outside and fill it for the next time. Loving the series!

Skippy... Keep some maple seeds when you are out. Then start slowly planting them on your island. You'll have plenty of wood in no time.

I would have used ramps sideways to make it look a little more rounded on the towers.
