Goldwyn also appeared in an episode of Tales From The Crypt with Beau Bridges. It was called "Abra Cadaver," and it aired on June 19, 1991. His name was also Carl in that just like it was in 1990's Ghost.
That's a lie. His grandfather NEVER owned the company he owned Goldwyn but had no ownership in MGM because it was bought out by Marcus Loew.. Billy Joel's family has a lot to do with the company as well. His grandfather had his rights to the company stolen from him. That whole story needs to have a TRUTHFUL movie made... 🤷🏾♀️
Love the diverticulitis point, Matlock was asking the Doctor to check and the he just kept his distance - confirming Matlock's suspicions about the stethoscope.
I just clicked on the user name for this upload to see what else was on the channel. Apparently it is based off of Tony Goldwyn altogether, acting history, interviews, etc.
I know, and while I can't condone murder, I suppose I can understand what triggered it. (No pun intended, if that is how he was murdered.) And that doesn't in any way mean I would ever have done the same thing, but I wonder if whoever killed him, which appeared to be Dr. Mark Campion, was offered a plea bargain.
+starlite*33 The actor who plays the victim Dr. David Westlake in The Doctors is Ben Piazza. In the episode The Ex, he portrayed a friend of the victim (Abe Forrestor)...
I remember this episode seeming like a knockoff of St. Elsewhere - the doctors were similar in appearance to the characters at St. Eligius - David Westlake vs. Donald Westphal, one guy looks like Fiscus, one like Ehrlich, one like Axelrod, the doctor at the beginning speaks and acts just like Dr. Craig, the scene in the cafeteria like St. Elsewhere always had, etc.
Love how it's this build up like Matlock is about to pull some Saul Goodman level shit, then it's just like, "Oh yeah, uh, you left something with your name on it at the scene of the crime." Like it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to piece that logic together lmao.
Daniel roebuck as a doctor? And he appears in later seasons as Matlock colleague. Tony Goldwyn before he murdered Sam wheat and was an accessory to killing two judges in the pelican brief. What is going on with the hands??
Roebuck later became intelligent Attorney Alex Winthrop, the son of one of Ben's best friends, then greener Attorney Cliff Lewis, the son of Ben's sworn archrival Billy Lewis. Years later, he would have a recurring role as sleazy DEA Inspector Rick Bettina (Nash's federal law enforcement rival) on Nash Bridges.
Was that supposed to be a test question Mr. Matlock asked Dr. Campion to which he answered, "At your age, it could be diverticulitis."? Testing what he'd learned about the human body or something?
Yeah, that whole time he knowingly had the stethoscope with Campion’s initials on it, while just casually asking about how they all must look similar and how some people probably pick up someone else’s by accident. Boy, Dr. C was SO sure that he was wearing his own because of how careful he claimed to be, even certain of it in the possibility that he was in a huge hurry, even as in an “I just killed someone, I better get the hell out of here!” type of hurry!😂
I do too. I'll drive and borrow the money from the bank and have mansions built in Mayberry USA and all of the nice, kind, non-violent, saved people that love everybody no matter the color of their skin can come and move in them until God calls us home. WHAT A WONDERFUL FANTASY!!!!!!!!
Loved this show, but as I look back, there are things about it that are wtf. For instance, in this scene, wtf does the doctor think he needs to wear his lab coat and stethoscope to testify at a trial? We kinda know he's a doctor by this point.
no good not full you cut in the tv show if you put a tv show tels than that is not full so that the people that like the tv shows know that we don't most look here for the full tv show matlock i can buy it the tv show
I remember watching this show with my grandparents as a kid. Hella comfy.
We need more full episodes. I can't go to sleep unless I watch Matlock
I can watch Matlock episodes all week 🤭
Seasons 7 (first half) and 9 are rerun wasteland when it comes to that show.
@@ericsande5345 the NBC seasons were much better and much more interesting.

My mum and I loved watching this show together. Her favourite part was when Matlock revealed the culprit in court
Love seeing "Mr. Roper" in a serious dramatic role. #NormanFell 😅❤
Funny thinking back on how young I must have been watching Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Columbo. But, they were great shows.
I watched all those shows too growing up 😊
You just reminded me of the name of that show murder she wrote. I couldnt remember the name for nothing. Thanks!@Wheelman
@@maryroode2331 Me too. I was in my 20s though
You're so lucky, dude. I wasn't even born yet. Hell, my parents were young whippersnappers in the early 90's.
@@pleasewakeupkyodai869 Whippersnappers!! 😭🤣🤣 ❤️ I was a whippersnapper back then as well and I watch Matlock and Murder She Wrote EVERY night!!😂🤷🏾♀️
I've noticed Tony to be an underrated actor.
I grew up watching matlock and golden girl 2020 watching
Goldwyn also appeared in an episode of Tales From The Crypt with Beau Bridges. It was called "Abra Cadaver," and it aired on June 19, 1991. His name was also Carl in that just like it was in 1990's Ghost.
I just wanted to make it 100 comments. We miss you Andy!
That ominous music at 10:47 pretty much states that the initials on the stethoscope that Campion had weren't his!😱
I actually loved watching this episode.
Love Tony Goldwyn POTUS Scandal!!
Me too 👍😀😀
What POTUS scandal?
Tony with eye brows and longer curly hair.YUM
Darrell Larson, the actor playing Jackson, was also Chandler Scott in the Fine Things movie, based off the Danielle Steel novel.
He also played Kevin Doyle on Law and Order.

Tony Goldwyn
This guy is always killing someone. He also killed Sam from Ghost 😂.
Technically he hired someone
😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, even though the Puerto Rican guy Willy pulled the trigger, Carl is the one who hired him.
The killer thought he was in the clear after that demonstration with Nurse Richards.
one of my favorite episodes
Stanley Roper guest stars!
Love the diverticulitis point, Matlock was asking the Doctor to check and the he just kept his distance - confirming Matlock's suspicions about the stethoscope.
Cliff was a extra heavy in Season 1 before he join the cast in season 7
Tony Goldwyn. . . yum 😍
I just clicked on the user name for this upload to see what else was on the channel. Apparently it is based off of Tony Goldwyn altogether, acting history, interviews, etc.
This is a great episode because finding out that the reason why one of the doctors is murdered is a surprise ending.
Norman fell was on the roper also three's company!
He was before don Knott's ( who was with Andy Griffith!
Thank you...Cap'n Obvious. Even teenagers know about Stanley Roper.
Badass at 12:05! Thank you for the upload!
OJ should have gotten,‘where were you at the time’, by Matlock.
The doctor was a grumpy old man

The guy who plays the victim plays in the episode called the ex; he plays an associate and friend of the victim.
Would you happen to know his real life name? Thanks for any help.
+starlite*33 The actor who plays the victim Dr. David Westlake in The Doctors is Ben Piazza. In the episode The Ex, he portrayed a friend of the victim (Abe Forrestor)...
THANKS ABILGAIL! :))
he killed Sam in the movie Ghost too..
Jerry Alexander
Yep...that's him.
Except he hired Willie Lopez to do it.

I hate to say it, but by 11:59, it didn't look good for Campion. The evidence pointed to him.
Not to mention the fact that Roebuck was also one of Samuel Gerard's teammates in The Fugitive.

Look at those zombie hands. Really strange color change at the bottom.

Why is Tony wearing his white coat and stethoscope to court??
It was a trick by Matlock

That doctor had it coming to him when he insulted the intern who would kill him.
