- We're in the heart of Robert Burns' country on Scotland's west coast.
We visit Kirkoswald Churchyard, an inspirational place for the Scottish national poet. You may recognise some of the names on the tombstones here as characters from his poems are interred alongside his grandparents.
There's also a font reputed to be used for the baptism of Robert the Bruce...
If you'd like to support the channel, and we'd REALLY appreciate it, you can do that by buying us a coffee at KoFi at ko-fi.com/plac.... This can be a one off contribution or you can pay monthly.
Any money we make goes towards making the channel better.
At ko-fi.com/plac... you can also download some nice cemetery photos and mobile phone wallpapers for free, but again if you'd like to leve a wee donation that would be awesome.
Another lovely spot 🩷
Another great video
Very pretty view from the top! I love the stones with the moss growing on them 😁
What an amazing place! Looks like it's well kept too. Thanks for braving the elements to share it with us 🙂
There's some kind of torch that makes the reading easier.
Another great vid!
Just amazing..
Appreciate your sacrifice to get it all filmed.
Stay well and dry.. think you need Vesse to sponsor you
Wow! Another great video…. A lot of those headstones have held up to the test of time.
Ahhh! What was that dark figure at the end of the video? Was thinking it was the grim reaper hurrying you along back to Daisy. 😮
My Great Great Grandfather William Orr is buried in this graveyard. I got to "find it" in late December 2023 just behind near the wall at the grave in vines 4:33. He was running a farm which is now the garden center next door. Thank you for the video
You're welcome.
The multi font stone might have been a compromise about the font by the erectors.😅
