@@networkingwithh4716 great job buddy
Oh my God. Thank you! I'm taking an IT course, and I just learned about IP Address classes, but they went over it so quickly and didn't really break it down or point to what exactly they were talking about, I couldn't really grasp it. You explained it so well! You're a lifesaver! Definetely giving this channel a sub.
Clear clear clear!!!! After days of wandering on the internet to understand the whole IP mystery. 3 videos of yours have cleared it all in less than 15 mins. Excellent
you are most welcome
isn't 127.0.0 for loopback purposes?

very helpful. thank you
Okay, it a nice explanation, but there is one big problem. All these classes are obsolete and non existent for almost 29 years. In year 1993 it was changed to CIDR/VLMS and there are no classes and no strict /8, /16, /24 subnets anymore.
So this is like explaining how phonograph works - it's nice to know, but it's long time dead.
By the way it is VLSM not VLMS
I partially agree with you but
For beginner to understand i guess you cannot jump directly in to CIDR/VLSM....let them first understand classes and then explain about CIDR/VLSM.
@@networkingwithh4716 I'n sure one can jump directly into VLSM/CIDR because it's technically easier. Okay you have to do some count and know how binary numbers work, but it's better than non used knowledge.
Thanks
Excellent video

Hy sir love from Pakistan...sir plese put numbering with videos and go forword the topic with such a flow to which we understand easily...exmple first start switching and then routing....or vise versa
Noted
i am trying to follow the syllabus mentioned by CISCO.
So perfect bro...
Thanks ✌️
Best ever explaination
Thanks
Good !
Thanks!
Thank you!!
Thank u ❤
wow nice but you guys went over it quickly
VERY NICE!
Thank you! Cheers!
Tnx u sir
So, we may not have more than 126 networks addressed with a class A address, right?
hi thanks for sharing this , but if you dont mind , it does not make sense to read out from table which is already infront of us for example , A B C D , Then reading out numbers.
Amazing!!
Thanks
Ooh nice
Thanks
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
hey buddy how did you do the presentation: it looks good. did you use any particular software for it?
perfect for me
How do they come up with the first octet numbers? like 1-127, 128-191...are these increments of 64?
Thank you! :)
You are welcome
I never realized the classes were divided in a comprehensible way. Learning subnetting this week has my brain in binary octet mode so it clicked suddenly that...
A 128
B 64
C 32
D 16
E 16
So you end up with;
Class A
00000000 - 01111111
Class B
10000000 - 10111111
Class C
11000000 - 11011111
Class D
11100000 - 11101111
Class E
11110000 - 11111111
Each class reserves certain binary digits that identify it. Class A reserves 1 bit as 0, Class B reserves the first 2 bits as 10, etc.
I need help,
I'm using 2 routers 1 as main and 1 as a WISP repeater I need to change a subnet mask with its own ip address range how do I do that ? Can someone provide me with a subnet as well as it's ip addresses
Good information but, how can any human search a particular word in 1 Billion random words?
Have one doubt if 0 to 127 is called as class A ip address then we use 127 as loop back ip address for Network errors. How's that possible ..?
wont be the ending address of class A be 126.255.255.254?
Yes correct
if ipv4 class A arrives 6m devices And the company has 9m devices how to manage
how about clss D and E
Class d - use for multicast
Class e - use for experimental purpose
Thatswhy thy are not used for studies purpose
0.0.0.0/0 it is a default gateway
What program are you using to make these videos?
could you please tell me how many subnets can you make with a class A IPv4 like 192.168.1.16/24 and what is the first and last IP Address ?
you mean 10.168.1.0/24? like this?
Is fair to say if you are taking ccna or A+ and they ask you define these class ip.if the ip starts with 192 then is a class C. Correct?
correct...

So address classes allow you to infer the subnet mask?
i did not get your question.. appreciate if you can elaborate...
what a black great man
Does Class D and E don't have any network and host?
128 is Loop back IP
bro class A is 0 to 126
agreed..
Any address that starts with a value between 0 and 127 in the first octet is a Class A address. These two numbers, 0 and 127, are reserved and cannot be used as a network address.
I see others using other numbers is it normal? Or....... It's fixed. ?
you mean subnet mask?
@@networkingwithh4716 I meant by the range
The net id, host id .. Ok but i got some issues with this matter
@@SahashreeNaskar-nc7on what issues do you have? could you please elaborate.
Can you share an example?
is this ipv4 class
Yes,,
If 193 what class?
Class C
