I am not a trucker but I do love to see all the different haulage companies good video greetings from Ireland I have subbed and liked the video. I actually was a helper for a haulage company here in Ireland called Harris I went with the truck driver all over most of Ireland back in the 90s I really enjoyed.I think he drove a Merc truck it was a beautiful Truck both inside as well as out side
Those were the days, none of the big brother, ridiculous rules and regs we have now but the video can't give a sense which always brings back the memories, the smell of pre- emission big truck diesels. arrr, such memories.
They seemed to run a lot of 4x2 units then pulling triaxle trailers there didn't seemed to be a lot of custom paint jobs Scania was definitely king the turbostars rare beasts now and the man f90 don't see many of those now the Volvo fl10 12 awesome trucks wonder how much it cost then to fill all your tanks up then a lot cheaper then to day absolutely great vid from a great time never got to drive a Scania 2or 3 series just before I past my test no autos sat navs etc wonder how many of the trucks servive
Ahhh the good ol days! Before phones, trackers & sat navs! So much simplistic back then....so much fun! Great vid thanks for posting!👍

Pure pleasure to watch, those 143 were before my time but often travelled on them as a chap. The magnum was such a tall beast in comparison
At 1.20 that definitely was me, I recognise my unit with the 143 badge painted yellow.

Real trucks and real truckers , no phones, no GPS , no flip flops , no leggins and no instagramer and youtubers.
Just wires and magnets 😂😂
Crazy to think that was 24 going on 25 years ago.
How the industry has changed
The Pol, Bul & RO's have took it all over now..
If you saw a polish truck down Dover you thought he was lost.
They're welcome to it.
First stop after coming off the boat
Great stuff back when driving was fun and you got paid,
Not sure about getting paid. The money was shite.
Top claass video
Best years in the back then shit now 🙄
Love the Irish lorries
Whoever that fella is backing in the Walsh Western yoke is a fierce man for the steering wheel. I thought he'd pull the steering column out of it.
Some amount of freight came outa lreland
Is hard to drive an articulated lorry
