Thank you. I was given orthotics 8 years ago for severe pain in my big toes which was shown to be arthritic changes and I was pain free for years and walked and climbed extensively without issues. My feet are now hurting all the time though the toes don’t bother me much. The pain is more severe on one foot and it’s a terrible burning pain running along the outside of my left sole and also under it and up into my ankle. I can hardly walk at all without the orthotics for example at night. I wore the orthotics without looking into the potential risks and goodness knows what is going on with my feet 😢I have decided to investigate this and your video was the first one I found. Thanks

    Very good video!
I was told that I had a left length discrepancy and worse orthotics for over 15yrs. I was told that I needed them the whole time. I actually had more problems with them!
I visited a chiropractor and he adjusted my hip and sorted out my mild scoliosis and my leg discrepancy vanished!
I recently was looking for a Aim therapist, but unfortunately they are not very affordable, well the one I contacted.

Awesome video! The root cause of most ailments start from the ground up, first and foremost what we put on our feet and how we use them matters. Have been adopting lifestyle changes that you’ve mentioned. Floor living, switching to barefoot shoes to encourage more movement into everyday life and has definitely made a significant improvement in my own life.
Just throwing away the conventional bed and sleeping on the floor would solve so many issues for so many people .

Do you still sleep on the floor - how’s it going? Do you use a pillow?

@@white91561still do, sometimes the comfort of a “normal” living isn’t the best option, comfort and convenience comes at a cost to health.

@@white91561 still do, a proper neck pillow too, depends on how you sleep, ideally flat on your back is best.

Incredible video! I've never seen a better explanation of why orthotics are often unnecessary. And your wooden prop made this much easier to understand.

Hi, I really enjoyed your furniture free vid and the cobble stone one. Are you able to recommend shoes without pointless support. Are birkinstock going to make my feet weak and dependent, would you conscider them as orthodontic shoes? I have always found that converse doesnt have much support, would they therefore be good for feet strenghtening?

converse are great for a flat shoe a lot of powerlifters wear them because it's so close to barefoot / natural stance

I am an orthodic user. When I put them on I feel it all the way up to top of my head. PTTD both feet :-( I'm most waking hours with orthodics. TBH I don't think my connective tissue problem is going to be fixed. I am interested in strengthen my feet but I do need to wear my shoes most of the time. Do you have any ideas with shoes on?

He mentioned about needing orthotics for injury at the end of the video. Since PTTD is a severe injury (mine is stage-II) you will definitely be benefitted from orthotics.
