Christian music recorded from WHME-FM 103.1, South Bend, Indiana from 1987

While visiting family in South Bend in the 1980s, I discovered WHME-FM as a source for Christian music I was not able to get on the radio where I lived. I recorded music off the air, and associated with that were the jingles and song introductions done by WHME radio personalities. This is not an aircheck proper, as it is primarily focused on the music and not on the other items broadcast (news, commercials, etc), but it does provide a picture of what this station sounded during the 1980s.

Wow. I was baptized in 1986 and off and running. Some of these songs I haven’t heard since that time period. I had two radio programs that ran for 14 years. I’m sure I used some of these songs. God bless!
