- We have now owned the Hyundai Alcazar for the last couple of months and drove the car for the last 5000 kms and here is an ownership review of the same. We have shared all the things that we like about the car and things that we hate or dislike about the Alcazar.

I get around 13.2 to 14.2 mileage regularly in the city, and in the highway, i have got up to 19.5 (Petrol manual variant), I live in Assam. All these after 2 service, but in new i was getting around 12 in city, but after 1st service it was getting worst only getting around 9.5 to 11.5 in city, and hardly 16 in highway, but thank god after 2nd it is giving good mileage.

Regarding the suspension..you can make it stiff at the service centre. I have an i20 and faced the same issue. But it got much better after making it stiff..trust mee...🙂
Will it cause chassis?
Headlight visibility especially with white led is pathetic. Especially in rains white light scattering is a lot leading to poor visibility. The best thing to do is to change the fog lamps to yellow type. Since the main headlights cannot be altered due to LED type changing the fog lamp would help a lot. If you notice the new Skoda and VW cars keep the halogen fog lamps although the main headlamp is LED, which many reviewers stupidly say is perplexing but is actually practical.
Thats why i never used led headlight, am happy with halogen 130/100 wat h4 bulb.
I drive signature diesel automatic variant. Daily drive is from noida to delhi and back. Mileage has never been less than 14-15 in city and on highways(travelled to Jaisalmer, Maharashtra, Lucknow etc on different occasions) the mileage has never been less than 20. I think its more about how you drive. I am happy with this car. Its a family car with best features in this price range. Only two cons: headlight on highways is not acceptable, pickup/power is not at par with cars in this price range.

That sound from center console is unexpected from Hyundai. Chillar mind set.
The mileage is a problem with driving. In so much traffic in Mumbai, I still get around 14 kmpl. And on highways, I get around 20 kmpl. Secondly, have never observed the car being underpowered, even when driving with full capacity. The 2 issues I agree with, the headlight throw and the creaking sound of front console

Wireless charging problem is with your specific car. Because i too own the same car but no problem with wireless charging

review on suspension - correct
- noise on center console - correct but easily solved just ask hyundai service center they will rectify it i got it done now it’s fine.
review on light - just a perception issue i drive regularly on highway without issue
- power - Have taken it across himachal - uttarakhand - never felt power issue gear box is excellent i had my doubts but was proved wrong.
- Mileage in city always - 12 to 13.
have driven 20000km in a year of ownership don’t feel issues mentioned except suspension issue.

Wheel balancing and alignment, they charged for labour for wheel alignment at Trident yelhenka

Bulu bhai, I have noticed this headlight issue with most of Hyundai cars, Most of their cars have poor headlights.

I observed that some of these issues are with lower variants only. I have Signature 2.0 DT, the suspension never had any issues will all occupants, even the center console is firm.
I own Signature 1.5 Diesel Automatic. Issue with center console is pretty much prevalent. Suspension is on slightly softer side but I didnt buy this car for offroading. Happy with general plush ride in city and highways

Hyundai cars are very smooth and comfortable to drive with features loaded but also maximum Hyundai cars has light and suspension problems which is really irritating....
I have the same car and same issue with the central console ,I have gone to the service centre he said every Alcazar owners complaints the same .please make a video if you find any solution .

I'm using Grand i10 Nios, feeling same sound from suspension in potholes....
Even when three people sits in rear seat in nios it's looks like the rear wheel goes inside the fender. Even sometimes I thought that 'Are Mera suspension kharap to Nehi ho geya'😀😀😀

Biggest negative is compromised basic structure. Just like Carens this will obviously get a 3* GNCAP with unstable bodyshell rating. But ofcourse youtubers won’t say that for obvious reasons 🙄

Head light is very poor.. And once accident happen it cost half the car but very safe.. Mileage is 6kmpl at hill area. Once tank is filled it will show 300 km but after traveling 10 km it will show 270 km.

@@BuluBiker Oh my bad, but it's a beautiful language, it's like Butter and very smooth when you speak. it's very easy to learn. If you get time, please do make sure to learn it, it takes max 1 or 2 months to converse fluently. Also you will be adding one more known language added in your kitty (Kannada, English, Hindi and other languages if you know). Please try it out once. God bless...

I have a Creta SXO, For the light I also felt the same with trio beam, so upgraded the fog lamps to projector setup. The look and feel is same as OEM, no warranty issues. After that never felt any light issues, it’s plug and play ( genome projector fog lamp ). You may check with the local dealers nearby.
I also upgraded my Bose speakers as the sound I felt was muffled, so replaced with Focal components and added a DSP.
Rest I find the car very good, travelled mountains, muddy terrains, sandy terrains, no complaints.

Same sound around centre console I'm getting In mg hector on undulated roads... (Squeaking noises)
Jeep compass is famous for rattles.
And I'm amazed hearing this in alcazar.
Headlights in hector are good.
I bought it in aug 21.
Compared with xl6/alcazar/hector...
I got petrol mg hector shine Mt at 16.50L.
Alcazar OTR cost was 19.30L for base 7s.
And I'm familiar with Hyundai petrol cars and their maintenance since long ago.
Right now, satisfied with MG aftersales service, top-notch.
Only thing I did wrong was going with petrol variant over diesel hector.
Mileage is 8-10 in city and 12-16 on highways (achieved 16 on peripheral eastern expressway)
From where did you buy your hector?My hector shine petrol costs 18L on road in indore.

Petrol is superb and runs like a cheetah in the highways, last week went for 1.5k trip on highway trust me petrol automatic with paddle shifters was like a game to ride, at this point I was getting 10 mileage and it was good for speed of 160 above, if u ride smooth it will be around 13 to 15 on highway
Yes agree. I get 16 on highways at 90-100 with cruise control. At city I get 11-12 on any good day with ac. Also never had any noise with Center console. It feels superb premium. Maybe a quality issue with some specific units.

HID can be installed in the fog lamp area. Its a snug fit.
I am planning to buy petrol version of this car. But bad headlight is a bit turn off for me as I mostly drive in the nights. Have you got any solution to this?

Thank you for the nice review! What about sound system? Although both Hyundai and Kia show off their Bose speakers, I found their quality below average during a recent test drive.
Bulu bhai i too own the 6s Signature variant i feel the vantilated seats are a bit slow effective than safari

Dear navy guy, I think true things not acceptable to every one..
Use Wd40 for reducing the sound from the gear console. 10k service is below 4k and 20k service is below 5k. Use only good bunks for clean diesel or will get sensor problems.

Bought Hyundai alcazar car last year august from grand Hyundai pattambi kerala and from the time of delivery itself all the warning lamps were on including engine lamp, once in a month car will be in showroom for repair and now they saying engine is complaint!!!
More over popular pattambi showroom service is ridiculous, still my car is in their showroom since last month!!!!
I didn’t get chance to enjoy my drive as the car was always in showroom,
Company have to give me proper solution, either replace the car or refund me

Bulu bhai.. Bikes aap top notch rakhte ho. Cars Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra etc mein se choose karte ho. All of them are poorly built.
You should go for VW or Skoda. Their build quality is unmatched.

Your points are irrelevant. In indian road condition, you can't go beyond 60 because you will hit someone that's a reality. Its a 37.6B $ company so they can do better R&D then you like suspension setup.
donno why this kich-kich(3-5 sec) sound turn my head-ache. rubbing air balloon, opening a door ,drag a stick on floor. omg terrible experiences for me.btw only review i can trust n relate.
