As being a FF in TX for 35 years and having been to TEEX fire field no less than a 100 times, great episode. I have pictures of me at 7 years old at the fire field in 1978. Not knowing that some 20 years later my father would work at there at the HazMat side of things and would instruct FF's all over Texas and the world.
As with every person who served in the Navy, we were trained to fight "ship board" fires. We had to put out fuel oil fires, electrical fires and various small fires, Because of this, I and I'm sure all Navy Vets have a huge respect for the folks at this training school. Thanks Mike for taking us along with you, I hope your ankle heals soon. ;-)
To all the Fire fighters, Paramedics, Coast Guard and all the others that will jump into the fire rather than run from it we thank you. You honor us with your service and dedication to saving our lives and protecting us. You are not honored nearly enough for what you do, but some of us do realize and recognize your service. THANK YOU.
Someone with his passion and having Parkinson's disease who remains optimistic, selfless, and always willing to help others is truly remarkable. Despite facing challenges and obstacles in his daily life, his determination and perseverance to continue giving back to his community is a testament to his character. Billy's unwavering spirit and refusal to complain about his condition is a true inspiration to those around him, showing that with the right attitude, anything is possible. Billy's willingness to help others, despite his own struggles, is a shining example of the human capacity for kindness and empathy. Billy Parker, you are a true gem, and your impact on the world is immeasurable. we definitely need more people like Billy. I wish you well. Another great episode, Mike.
My class graduated from there in January this year! I'm a proud TEEX graduate and alumnus. So happy to see that place get some recognition beyond our world of emergency first responders! Thank you Mike!
Been a volunteer firefighter for 23 years now, this is beautiful God bless Parker and everyone involved with this site! Great job to Brother Rowe, his parents, and team for putting this together!
I have done many training classes at TEEX, and they are a world class organization. I'm so excited that you did this show to what we as first responders have to go through, either in training, or in real life. Love the show. Thanks Mike.
Mike you really have a way of making everyone seem more important than you and all of us who take those people for granted. I appreciate you and your videos every time I see them. Please keep it up...and I know you will.
I had no time to watch this episode. I have 100 things I could be doing. But I can't resist Mike and his honest, easy, entertaining storytelling. As a video guy, I also learn a lot from watching the BTS footage. Mike and his team are truly a national treasure.
Billy seems like a really awesome guy. It really makes me proud to have such honorable people dedicated to their passion to help and save people during a disaster or emergency situations. Why has he not been a contender for a Nobel Peace Prize, I'm very serious about it, who else has helped humanity more than this man?
They give those only to unworthy politically important people. The Billy's of this world don't expect prizes like that. Their feeling of pride in what they do, the respect given by their peers, that's their prize. Until the ultimate prize at the end of their lives. He'll sit on God's shoulder 🙏🤲
Awesome man, your parents are so "Hard case" as we say in New Zealand, much, much more to you than simply the best voice-over artist for 30 years worldwide. Great video thanks Mike
