When they have nothing of substance to argue, they feign indignation as if being upset should sway the judge's emotions. Asking for a bond is a mundanely normal thing to request. Any lawyer that's "offended" by something so commonplace just makes themselves look woefully incompetent.
She doesn’t need a bond. This is stupid. It’s a very unfortunate careless driving case. How about dealing with all the guns. How about distracted a parenting case. This is a tragic accident but parents need to teach their kids how to play safely. I was making a right hand turn with a green light at night in the dark. And this kid riding his bike on the sidewalk in the wrong direction of traffic decided to cross the street on a red light and went into the side of my car. The next thing I heard was that I was getting sued by the kids parents until the police informed the parents that if anyone should sue it should be me suing them. Riding a bike on the sidewalk, riding the bike through a red light, riding against the flow of the traffic, and the kid was wearing dark clothing with no lights on his bike, and he ran into the side of my van but the parents still wanted to sue. I wasn’t in the quart room but this was mostly a tragic accident and at the end of the day we all need to be careful.
I thought this was a careless driving case. Reading some of the comments here it would appear that some people think that she deliberately killed the child.
It was a careless driving case. People get their panties all in a bunch because it was a child that died. I understand but she did not deliberately hit him. It's a very tragic case all around.

she is...as much a murderer as anyone who treats driving as a right to behave howsoever she wishes, regardless of the impact of her actions on others. Accidents should NOT happen when driving with due care and attention as behoves those in charge of a dangerous weapon.
Appalling! Does she still have a job ? 😮 teaching children??? a child

LOL 😂 Amy IS NOT the victim. What a COWARD.

her attorney is appallingly rude.

It’s awful that they’re treating her like an intentional murderer, ACCIDENTS DOOOOOOOOOO HAPPEN!!!!!!!
Texting and driving is illegal. It was not an accident it was reckless.
@@aliciagwrjrnfj Im sure youve never been distracted while driving.

The prosecution acknowledged it was an accident. Intentionality and recklessness are separate.
