Hello and welcome to today's journey. We're going to check out what it's like to take a ride on DB ICE 3 high-speed train in the 1st class between Munich and Berlin.
The Berlin - Munich high-speed railway is 623 km (387 mi) long high-speed rail line which connects Berlin, Leipzig, Erfurt, Nuremberg and Munich. The line was opened on 10 December 2017 and reduced travel time by train between Berlin and Munich from 6 hours to 3 hours and 55 minutes. Construction cost about €10 billion, making it the most expensive transport project in Germany since reunification.
However it should be noted that ICE are flagship trains in the fleet of the German state railway company - Deutsche Bahn, they provide fastest and the highest level of service and connects all major cities in the country at speeds up to 300 km/h (186 mph). Apart from domestic use, the trains can also be seen in countries neighbouring Germany. InterCity Express also serves some destinations in Austria, France, Belgium, Switzerland and the Netherlands, mostly as part of cross border services. Enjoy the video!

17:57 these 2 units are actually disconnected, easily noticable on the red lights being turned on, and if you look closely you can see on the couplers that the electric connections (for train system stuff or something) are already disconnected too

I went on a direct train from Vienna to Hamburg via the route via Berlin but the train was an ICE T. It felt like an insult towards those tracks considering ICE Ts can only reach a maximum speed of 230 km/h. 🥲

That „only“ thing is the result of lots of experience. When trains have to stop several times because lots of major cities are along their journey they do not have the time to accelerate to speeds above 250km/h. And when they have reached it, it is time again to slow down. It would be no fun for passengers to be pressed into their seats or pushed off their feet because of hard braking. So basically we have two intercity express concepts now. To enjoy full speed go from Hamburg to Berlin with only one stop in between as Mecklenburg and Brandenburg are not densely populated, or take the express from Hamburg via Hanover and Kassel to Nuremburg. That is the track with lots of tunnels that runs parallel to the motorway A7.
