Rodriguez, officially the Municipality of Rodriguez, a 1st class municipality in the Province of Rizal, Philippines. It borders San Mateo - Rizal, Antipolo City - Rizal, Norzagaray - Bulacan, San Jose Del Monte - Bulacan, Quezon City & Caloocan City - Metro Manila and General Nakar - Quezon. Politically divided into 11 Barangay (Village). Also know as "Montalban" it's former name derived from the Spanish word "Monte" means Mountain, in reference to the numerous hills found within sorrounding the town.
Rodriguez is named after Eulogio Rodriguez, Sr., a native of the municipality and a Filipino Politician who served as Senate President.
Home of the Montalban Town Center located in Brgy. San Jose.
