Oh yay, I am looking forward to the Stephen King-miniseries video! I love Storm of the Century, re-watched just recently actually, and Andre' Linoge is one of the best villains ever! And ever since I was a teenager, I've had as a tradition to watch The Stand and The Langoliers every summer. Back in the days, I used to rent them on VHS (yes, I am very old 🙂), and spend a couple of sunny summer days inside just getting lost in the apocalypse and lost in time 😄. And I still do it! Except I whip out my snazzy dvd:s now. 😃
Oh man, I miss the King miniseries era, too. It was such a fun time, everyone watching the same movie/miniseries and talking about each episode the next day. It was really exciting.
Vamp is so much fun! I recently rewatched it on Shudder. Grace Jones rules! Also her body paint was done by underground artist and gay activist Keith Haring! He died of AIDS way back when unfortunately but his work lives on. I recently watched There's Nothing Out There! from the early '90's. It's Scream with aliens before Scream was a thing. And I watched Disconnected from the early '80's today. Super low budget. Creepy interesting music. The creepy phone calls the main lady gets are so freaking weird sounding. Not perfect but strangely fascinating. Both movies are on Tubi, and both movies have scenes set in video stores. I think there's two Video Violence movies. Oh, and I just rewatched Elizabeth Harvest. I freaking love this movie. A man brings his new wife into his high tech home and creepy stuff happens. It's a modern day old dark house horror story with sci-fi elements. I don't know why more people don't like it. I think it's a masterpiece. It's on Shudder and Tubi.
Living in Australia I love the weirdness of the killer environment that totally inspires me to write stories that tap in to the real creatures, desert landscape and just seriously crazy people mad from the heat and isolation , but really am jealous that you live in cold snowy Stephen King land. Storm of the Century is my daughter and me’s comfort series when cyclones are looming. She inherited the weirdness. We love each and every one of your vids. Thank you!😹
I highly recommend Turkish found footage horror " Dabbe: The Possession (2013) ". It's 4th movie from Dabbe franchise and in my opinion it's a best and scariest among all of them. The story is very interesting and combines Islamic takes on demons (Jin) with Turkish and West Asian folklore. It have turns and twists and as West Asian (Iranian) I really loved it.
I just recently found page and absolutely love it!! Not to mention I now have a crush! 😂. No, but seriously great videos! Not sure where you live, but have you ever been to HHN in Orlando? If you haven’t, you definitely should.
Birth/Rebirth was on my 2023 best list. I liked the Peter Benchley's mini series The Beast and Creature Below is so underrated, set on a submarine, is from the director of Pitch Black
Some recs: 😊Have you seen Ripper: Letter from Hell? It’s a slasher from the early 00’s. Not many people talk about it. Also, the film Intruder (1989) and the movie Init!ation (2020)
Sadly I don't have many movie rec's, seems like we've watched a lot of the same stuff recently (loved Lisa Frankenstein!), but what I can wholeheartedly recommend are the poscasts/audio dramas for Borrasca and The Left-Right Game. I got there from the Creep Cast. The podcasts are amazing, Cole Sprouse stars in and produced Borrasca, and Tessa Thompson stars in and produced The Left-Right Game.
I'm sure you've seen it but Underwater is one of my new favorite underwater horror movies. Oh and not water horror but Don't listen and Run are pretty good too all made in 2020 I do believe.
Wow you've been quit busy the only horrors I watched so far is Night Swim, Two (Dos), Frozen (no not the Disney one the 2010 Adam Green one) and Clown.
Recs The Sentinel The Other The Stuff Servant (tv series) Welcome to Arrow Beach Summer of Fear (Awesome Linda Blair tv movie) Satan’s Triangle. (TV movie) Crowhaven Farm House 1986 Burnt Offerings 1976 (great movie classic book) Dagon 2001
Check out ‘There’s Nothing Out There’ first meta horror Scream totally ripped off. Maybe the very definition of smart fun horror.First 5 mins a video store geek dream. 15:45
You NEED to move to Arizona. Girl, I love your shit, but youre wrapped "WAY" to tight for the East Coast. You need to run kicking and screaming to freedom. Just saying......................

It really was! And I’m not sure it would work the same today …I mean they have done them (The Stand from 2020), but it’s just diff with streaming.
@@mandysmorgueofhorror No it wouldn't work today, I don't think. I'm glad I didn't miss that time, though.

Oh my god I never hear anyone talk about Boy Eats Girl!! You've made an Irish horror fan very happy!😄
It’s such a fun one that needs more love!
I loved Birth/Rebirth. I can't wait to watch Lisa Frankenstein. I'm going to check out some of your other suggestions. Great list!

I think I started one of these on Netflix but it was super late and I was tired and didn’t finish. Thanks for the reminder I need to revisit it!
