- Hi, I am typical Russian man, & today I will show you an area that was a wasteland just a year ago. Prices have skyrocketed several times. People have the smallest payment capacity that I have ever had in my memory. And at the same time there is a construction boom, everywhere! Who are they building it for??? 🧐🙄🤔 ... They usually build when purchasing power is high, but now it's the other way around. Paradox!🤯

Same here in New Zealand...we see more and more high rise condos apartment buildings and 15 minute housing which cost so much like $800.000 NZ dollars to buy. and most of them are all together in one complex area...

We have the one of the highest standards of living in the in the world. All the damn luxuries. Don't know where you're at. It's not like we don't have the opportunities.

I suspect there is a reason for it. Prices will most likely drop significantly as war happens. People may move from more vulnerable areas into the cities. The difference between this and China is that China used basically fake construction materials. Those look the proper way. Interesting.

Same in California, "People don't have so many money, but construction BOOM!" 5 story apartment buildings, no patios, no parking. Popping up all around town. We traditionally have 3 bedroom homes with front and back yard, maybe even a alley. This new stack and pack style was not approved by local citizens!

In the Netherlands people don't have that much money anymore and everything is becoming more and more expensive. In our country almost no houses are built anymore because of the environment (nitrogen) children still live at home at the age of 30 because they no longer have a home and no future... Becoming Do you have those apartments built for the Koreans? It is said that 1000 people die every day, so Koreans have to come and work for you. They have to live somewhere, right? I hate all this hatred. Let us not believe in that stupid talk and continue to love each other so that our children do not grow up in hatred

Younger people have difficulty finding a place to rent because prices are outrageous! I feel bad for them.
I rent in NZ and it is sky high the prices...from $550 $800 $1200 a week for rent for 2 or 3 bedroom house

What the Hell is the future for our young "starting-out" people? They are doomed in debt because of wealthy old politicians all over the world with big houses and big bank accounts.
I feel that way in the United States too. Grocery prices are unreal. I can’t drive and have to pay for transportation and let’s not forget about this ridiculous heat and electricity bills!!!

I'm from MAINE prices will go down as long as a certain person remains in office high prices are due to the covid outbreak and corporations robbing us but if they are forced to stop we will be in great shape also the interest rates will come down that also will help
@@douglashardy3408 quite honestly during the pandemic is when I really noticed the crazy prices. I ordered toilet paper that took 4 months to get and the rolls were so thin it was ridiculous. I had to laugh. It was like a very bad joke. I’m sure it cost a lot of money. Thank goodness I canceled the order but it arrived anyway.

Dan that is what is happening where I live. The price to rent an apartment is more expensive than my house payment of what is considering a very large home. I can’t move!! If I sold we’d make,a lot of money but the interest rates are ridiculous. Food prices are outrageous. Clothing stores don’t have much on the shelf. It’s very weird. Welcome to the twilight zone!

I live in Oregon, and I have 5 kids and haven't had any problem finding clothes for them.

Didn't China do the same thing. Randomly built an entire city that's almost completely empty now.
They’re either completely empty or knocked down and destroyed. There are mountains of electric cars in China that are unreal. You cannot possibly live where I live with just a bicycle. It’s impossible. It’s also extremely hot and people would have heat stroke.
They did something similar, but that was corruption. Businesses lobbied for money and use fake building materials. In this case, it looks like they are real buildings. I wonder if they are expecting people to move from vulnerable areas into the cities as conflict grows. Might be smart planning.
Most of those buildings if not all of them are Tofu projects and wont be around for much longer since they were built with substandard materials and concrete so weak, there are videos of people crumbling it with their bare hands.
The world laughed, but they efficiently build for the future. The west can not do that.

Same is here in Colorado USA. Lots of Gas Stations and Banks. No one has money for all this stuff everywhere; but yet prices keep going up.

Yes I don't have any money and I've been helping my daughter and her boyfriend eat for over a week now and it's so hard to take care of somebody else. As much as I like taking care of other people I can't do it right now. It's very depressing because the grocery prices are so high.😢

That is very true here in New England. All I can do to not think about it is keep busy. Worrying is so damaging to your internal organs. I also love to walk almost everywhere just to get my worries out of my system. Stay strong and give thanks for what you do have.

No, these are very high quality houses. In Russia, all new housing is mostly of very good quality. Oddly enough, most apartments in these buildings are quickly sold out. People take them out as mortgages.

It’s like that here in Northern California where I live also. 😊👍 There are walnut trees on every street practically and there are many citrus trees so that people are always asking if you want to take some oranges, mandarin oranges, and especially lemons. Also sometimes plums or apricots etc depending on what someone planted long ago. It’s very nice! I remember when my sister went to do missionary work in Bolivia. She said no one no matter how poor ever starves to death or freezes to death because it’s a 12 month growing season. It’s never too cold there or and there’s food growing wild everywhere on trees, etc..

This is because one of the features of the Russian language and Russian mentality (and many other slavic peoples) is the "ensoulment" of inanimate objects and things.
And there is even a separate story about the bell.
In 1591, in the city of Uglich, as popular rumor says, during the secret murder of the son of the late Ivan the Terrible 8 year old Tsarevich Dmitry (probably by order of the boyar Boris Godunov, who really ruled the country at that time instead of Dmitry's older brother (from another mother) Tsar Fyodor, who immersed himself in religion and did not engage in royal affairs), a miracle happened - the alarm bell of the local Spassky Cathedral rang spontaneously without a bell ringer. I love Love LOVE this video. I am a horticulturist - plant and gardening scientist - in California, and I really enjoyed seeing all those plants! There were so many varieties I have never, ever seen! One - the hoya - was a group of plants I did my master's thesis on, and there were 3 there that were completely new to me. Thank you so much! I love you, too, Dan.
Here in California apartments are being built in huge numbers in every city in the state. They are going up quickly and are supposedly additional housing deemed neccessary by our state government. Problem: Some of the condos built for additional housing cost $900,000 while apartment rentals are around $3,000 for a 2 bedroom apartment here in Southern California.
No affordable housing in this building frenzy that the average person can afford. And the developers are running with it, buying lot after lot including buying up peoples' businesses to build there. Out of control and ruining towns.
Where are all the people coming from to fill those buildings? Is this the construction of 15 minute cities?

Most will buy these apartments with a mortgage. In Russia there is an excellent state program - maternity capital. The state pays off the mortgage in installments after the birth of children. If a family gives birth to 3 children, the mortgage is completely repaid.

Modern Day Concentration Camps people will willingly move into. The cost of everything, including rent and homeowners taxes, is forcing people to look for more affordable housing options. Of course, the governments are here to help🙄 . Everyone will move into new "Affordable Housing " high-rises where no matter how much or little you make, you pay 30% of your income for rent and the government becomes your landlord and completely in control of your housing + the entry / exit way. In LA they just finished one of their ultra modern high risers for homeless and low income. There are more to come. Rent is one third of income for studios & 1 bedrooms.

Yes, prices of homes where i live in Florida are beyond reach and the costs of insurance and upkeep makes it impossible for most. There are no almost no shopping malls, only big box stores or buy on line and hope it fits.
Sounds as if Florida really sucks, and there are far too many Americans here totally trashing our country on what we know is a channel that a certain Russian is still allowing to get through UA-cam. Thank you for the trip through town and the mall. My oldest son's favorite flower to work with is Orchids as well. One of my favorite pictures of him I took when he didn't see me, was him working on the cross pollinating of his Orchids. I saw a Subway sandwich shop in the background when you were in the plant section next to the food court. I thought every company pulled out. Did they just not take down the signs? I don't care, it was just surprising to see. Love the wallpaper. I used to work for a company that sold floor tile, and wall coverings. Seems like a very good quality of paper. From watching you showing Russia to the world I say it is better than America in every way. I see your people are in better health than the US and your cities are cleaner and free of homeless people. Your country has affordable food and goods. You are a great example of the wealth of the people in Russia as you and your family are doing very well without having jobs to go to every day for money. Here, in the US, we tend to throw money at construction jobs when times are hard too. We spend on road construction/improvements a ton too. It actually helps, keeping many employed doing the construction, keeps the economy from hitting rock bottom. You'll see developers grabbing land a bit cheaper because of the economy and they throw up a plan of homes that when you see the price you think no way is that going to sell, but they do.

Dan they are building like crazy here in Coastal Delaware also. Single homes and new developments everywhere! New banks on every corner. Pricing out all the local citizens. Buying out all the farmers for developments and solar farms. Putting wind turbines in our oceans which seems to be effecting our wildlife. I plant a garden and have native plants to draw butterflies & hummingbirds. However, not enough bees to even pollinate my vegetables! I’m so sad I don’t know what is happening to our beautiful earth. Also our house prices for new developments is from $400.000-$1,000,000. I want to know where do all these people work? We do not have employment for all these people to work from! I am a licensed general contractor with BOA Heavy Construction in Boston and have owned the business for 24 years. I will tell you that all these apartments and condominiums are a monopoly work of developers, corruption and bankers under the rule of politicians, because the price of land in the USA is too high. They earn more on an apartment building than on a private house. Meanwhile, the more apartments are built, the more people live under communist ideology, this was known in the future of the United States. If you need privacy rights such as washing your own car, maintaining your car or bikes, or cooking for invited family, you need a single-family home. I don't think Russian apartments or condominiums require tenants or owners to pay a special monthly apartment or condominium fee. The US needs to learn to stop the influx of immigrants, because the cost of living will rise sharply.
